Hey peeps, my wife and I are new members and are happy to have found this site. Took a break from cruizin for awhile and started again last year on the Celebration. YUUUUCCCK! Would not recommend her. We've signed up for the Legend September 16, 2007 (I recently changed jobs and need to wait for vacation time). We'll be heading to Cayman, Costa Maya, Belize, and Cozumel.

We are going to Alaska this summer. It was a pretty impulsive booking. My husband has always wanted to go and we are not getting any younger (51). I also heard that the glaciers may be disappearing and we would hate to miss them. We were going to wait to go to Alaska when we retired but thought we better go now.

As we became new cruisers and cruise addict/infected since this year we decided to test the different cruise lines and standards by booking mini-cruises mostly. So you will find us in 2007 on

MSC MUSICA East Med (next week!!!)

COSTA CLASSICA North Europe

JEWEL OF THE SEAS North Europe

BLACK PRINCE UK

QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 UK

NORWEGIAN GEM West Med

That's why I checked OTHER.

My wife and I will be on a 10 day New York - Caribbean and back to New York on the Queen Mary 2. We will be stopping at 2 islands we have never been to before - St. Kitts and Tortola. The best stop for us though will be Barbados.

We love to cruise on new ships ... and this was the itinerary for the new

NCL Pearl... so we must check it out.

The stops are less important to me than the ship on most trips.... except when we go to Europe... then its the stops.

Will be leaving soon ... actually.

We're taking another family cruise on NCL Dawn in June (NYC to Bahamas, Bermuda, back to NYC) and then DH and I are going on Carnival Victory cruise to Nowhere in October. The reason for the Dawn: we love the ship (great for families!!!) and we couldn't wait to go back to Bermuda (with the kids this time). We wished that we could take a cruise just to Bermuda and spend 3 days there, but we prefer the bigger ships and none of them go to just Bermuda. So, we'll settle for one day.

We're going on the Seven Seas Navigator at the end of March (Western Carribean) and are looking daily for something later in 2007 (smaller ship, etc.) We're really interested in a Regent cruise from Alaska to Osaka, Japan but the date does not work for us. Guess I'll just keep checking the boards to see what's out there;)

I am cruising to the Southern Caribbean. Very interested in seeing St Lucia and Barbados. Cruises provide me with an opportunity to get a taste of different points. If I like them, I plan extended visits. It's an awesome way to see sites.

My choice was to visit the Med. However, I waited on others and it did not work out. Who knows, that could change at the last moment.

Will be planning a Greek Isle cruise and would love information from those that have been there. We have been to Europe several times and most of the cruises spend too much time in Italy. I love Italy and that is probably why every time we went to Europe we spent a week there. We want to cruise the Greek Islands, we have been to Greece one time and it was a very short visit. Does anyone have recommendations for a cruise to see the Greek Isles.

We often do escorted tours, but this time want to pack and unpack one time, on the ship and have the ship take us to the ports. Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

In March of '07 I will be cruising to the Mexican Riviera on the Diamond Princess. It leaves from Long Beach and goes to Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo.

We have cruised those three ports twice now and LOVED it each time.... Have fun!
