luvscruising2007 Posted June 1, 2008 #51 Share Posted June 1, 2008 We have only been on two cruises and Kieron Buffrey was great. So was Abe, I don't recall his last name. I have a question though. How long are the contracts for CD? It looks to me that CD's change quite frequently.

madforcruising Posted June 1, 2008 #55 Share Posted June 1, 2008 My vote would go to Karen Mayburry, but I have to admit that I don´t remember many of the CD´s names I had, though of course this must also be an indication that they didn´t thrill me to make me remember their name. What I can´t understand is the rave about Ken Rush. It might be not fair for me to rate him as I only had him on the real maiden voyage of the Freedom of the Seas Hamburg to Oslo. It was only a one nighter and probably things didn´t go smoothly for all of them, but Ken Rush had kind of an uptight appearance that seemed to be annoyed to deal with passengers now and host some of the scheduled activities.

PATDEN Posted June 3, 2008 #59 Share Posted June 3, 2008 I would vote for Graham Seymour. We was the CD on two of our Princess cruises. I hope it's true that he will be on IOS in November. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll have him on our sailing. He was so hilarious. :D

blackpool belle Posted June 4, 2008 #63 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Easy choice : GRAHAM SEYMOURdoes anyone know if he is stil with RCI and if yes, which ship? The only thing I regret about cruising with him is not having bought his DVD. We really enjoyed the entertainment and even my husband made the effort to be awake for the "very scary morning show". Just got off the Independence last Sat 31st May. Ken Rush left the same day and was succeeded by Graham Seymour but dont know how long for. NancyIL Posted June 9, 2008 #69 Share Posted June 9, 2008 My first RCI cruise was on Splendour in April 2005, and Graham Seymour was the CD. He was so funny - he could've been the evening entertainment every night and I would've been happy! I thought Mike Szwajkowski on Adventure of the Seas was also very good. mamawolf Posted July 22, 2008 #70 Share Posted July 22, 2008 I have sailed with James Andrews twice (Freedom and Liberty). He was a delight. Very funny, quick witted, and he has a great Australian accent! Clo was our CD on the Jewel in March. She was also enjoyable. I was looking forward to Richard Spacey, but I guess he is going on vacation and Ken Rush will be the CD on our Freedom cruise in 2 weeks (though I have read good things about him as well!) Overall, I would vote for James Andrews. Clo is no longer a CD with RCI I guess - according to the RCI Productions site. The only 2 female cruise directors are Carly Boileau and Karen Maybury. You can find a list of CD's (although they do not include which ship they are on) by visiting the productions site (http://www.royalcaribbeanproductions.com/). From there, select "TEAM" from the menu bar at the top. There is a drop down box in which you can choose to only view the CD's.

He had been on Monarch for about 2 months at that point, but was leaving Monarch on 7/18/08. I don't know who replaced him on Monarch.
