Dinner Menus - are the new ones finalized yet?

Recommended Posts

From what I've read, the menus have had some changes fleet-wide. Is it all done, or are they still making adjustments? If done, does anyone have a copy - especially the 7-day cruises? Thanks!

P.S. Checking - formal nights on the Mariner Eastern route are 2nd and 6th? And Murder Mystery the 3rd night? Thx again!

Does anyone who has recently sailed on Mariner know if they still offer the Vidalia Onion Tart appetizer in the dining room the first night?

We were on Mariner 5/18 Western sailing with the new menus and yes, it was offered (as a captain's signature dish!) and by the time we went to order (second seating) they were out of it! We were VERY disappointed... BUT!!!! on the second night, they brought it out for all of us special! That was so nice! I love RCCL's service.

Did anyone else notice that they have some form of pasta and marinara sauce on the menu every evening? That marinara sauce must be really popular!!
Also the chicken breast and the sirlion appear every day too......and having spent the afternoon typing the whole list out I can tell you that the words 'tomatoes', 'chocolate' and 'basmati rice, pappadams and tangy raita' appear a lot too!!!

BTW, Thanks for typing all of this out. I always appreciate folks like Albert that take the time and trouble to do this. It really helps a lot to plan which evenings, (if any) to go eat at one of the specialty restaurants.

Thanks again

Again many thanks! On our cruise I believe nights 5 and 6 are switched. Now that we know what they're serving - which nights are the most fun to be in the main dining room - i.e., singing waiters, chefs, etc.? No more Baked Alaska parades I guess!

Yum-Yum...

Thank you for the effort that took:D . Does anyone know how this would change for a 12 night cruise?

There are 4 additional menus. We just have to find someone cruising for 12 days who is willing to take pictures or copy things down for us.:D

I had finally found 11 of the 12 menus (with a probable menu for the 12th)for our cruise next March about a week before the new menus came out, so I am starting over again. I only had 5 and now thanks to the people on this thread I have 8 - only 4 more to go.

I've never done it before, but there are a couple of them desserts that I really love. Do they mind if you order two of them? I don't want to sound like a pig, but I can't get enough of that warm chocolate cake with the pears.:)

Does anyone know if these new menus apply to Explorer of the Seas as well? Are they fleetwide?? Sounds good to me!

Although a few of the ships have some special menus (like those in the med), the majority of the fleet has the same menus. These should be what we will see on Explorer.

I have seen plenty of people post about getting 2 appetizers, 2 main courses or 2 desserts. I haven't done it yet, but I may try it this next time. I like ice cream with my straberry shortcake.
