Hi Carol! Enjoy and say hi to Denise! How was Disneyworld?
Disney was FANTASTIC. Denise just knows EVERYTHING (sorry, Celia, ALMOST as much as you! ;)) We had five days in the parks, and did a park a day plus a day at Blizzard Beach. It was beastly hot the whole time, and rained for two hours on Wednesday (Animal Kingdom) and three or four hours on Thursday (Magic Kingdom) - one of the live shows even stopped midway through. We didn't let the weather bother us at all - we were just glad that there were no hurricanes! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was fabulous - we got bags full of candy by "trick or treating". :D Denise was Ariel and I was a (generic) queen. One of the "cast members" (Disney workers) even came up behind me and "carried my train".

Hey Stranger!!! Glad you are having a fantastic time and it makes me feel less guilty for not emailing you the pics I took of you and the kids in Cayman knowing you are away. Re: the newlywed question...it's one of our favorite lines when things go aren't going our way ;) "That would be _ _ _ Bob!"

Have a wonderful time...looking forward to more postings.

Yep, that's the line, Sharon! It was hilarious when the wife said it, but we all just rolled around with laughter when the husband came back and gave the same answer! (by the way, they did agree on the "real answer", too)

Hey Carol, have you met any nice people onboard this trip?

Um...............no. :(

Hey Carol...

Glad you're enjoying your trip... always enjoy your "Live" reports...

BTW... the TV trivia you are speaking of... by any chance is it the one where you have to name the TV show theme songs????

DH, sis and her BF, and I won that challenge on Enchantment a few weeks ago... then were promptly told we needed to get a life and given a baseball cap for our efforts...;)

No, that one was tonight while we were eating dinner. :( This was general TV trivia, not musical.

Carol - I'm on board too! :D 9078 - stop by and say hi. Or maybe we will see you at the party tonight. :)

It was great to finally meet you, Patrick.

Here is something even funnier than the way we met at the party:

Denise and I had been booked to stay in 9082!!!!!!!! (when prices dropped, we upgraded ourselves to a JS)

Thanks for the champagne!!!!!! ;)

Hey Carol!

See you on Thursday when you pull into KW! Check your e-mail for my cell phone number!

I'm looking forward to it!!!!!!

Yes, we've booked a room at Comfort for the Atlantis visit as well - anxious to hear how that actually works out, whether it was worth it, etc.
I will report in full. (tomorrow night, I hope). We're leaving the ship at 9:30, and all-aboard is 5:30.

I would love to get updates on the food that is served in the evening poolside' date=' I have heard great things about it. Thanks !![/color']
We didn't go during the 3-night, but will try to go this week, and give you a report. :)

Thanks for posting! We're really excited about our upcoming Majesty cruise. Let us know if you find any good conch! I LOVE the conch chowder at Atlantis, and am debating a cab ride out there just to get some. :)

We ended up eating at some place on the main drag of Nassau called Café Skans. We shared a large bowl of conch chowder and an order of fried conch, NOT fritters - this is solid conch, not chopped up with filler.

YUM YUM YUM. :D

I will be on the Majesty in a few months, just a few quick questions

1) Is the deli free? What are the hours?

2) What night is the quest on the 4 day sailing?

Thanks!

Scott

Hi, Scott.

Compass Deli has no extra charges, unless you get a drink.

I went there for the first time today, which was boarding day for the 4-night, so it was only open 5 to 7 P.M. It's a middle of the day, lunch kind of place, so it doesn't open early or stay open late.

I'll try to get you more specific info about hours tomorrow.

On the 4 night, Quest is Wednesday night.

....and I'll admit it: We didn't do the Quest on the 3 night. It was the last night, Sunday, and we were dealing with other stuff.

They couldn't and wouldn't let us stay in the same cabin for both cruises. We spent a lot of time "discussing" the issue with them, and being shunted aside.

We ended up having to move this morning. They did give us a lot of help, but it was a pain in the butt. And they are only individual small annoyances, but there were quite a few things wrong with the "new" cabin that didn't exist in the original cabin, so we've spent quite a bit of time calling and dropping by the guest relations desk, asking them to take care of these things.

The B2B turnaround was a little more trouble than it should be, and took almost an hour, but we got back on board and were able to return to our cabin and unpack.

Now, we have ended up with three bottles of champagne.

1. The GOOD stuff, from GMoney.

2. We found a bottle in the hall, in an ice bucket, unopened, with a pair of champagne glasses. Someone must have gotten it from their TA or something, and didn't want it, and just put it out in the hall before they left this morning.

3. RC sent a bottle to our cabin "for our trouble".

I popped open a bottle after I unpacked. I enjoyed it throughout the day. (ok, it only took me about five hours to kill it - Denise doesn't drink :))

We met the lovely people from our Roll Call, both at the Pool Bar and later in Boleros after the Muster Drill.

The show was excellent - a VERY funny comic named Rick Corso.

Jimmy Rhodes continues to be a very good CD. He is a genial, warm and friendly host.

NEWS FLASH:::::: In the Farewell Show on Sunday night, Jimmy did the "top ten questions"....................and he had some NEW ones! I was amazed and shocked.

(yes, and if I can remember them with Denise's help, I'll post them later). He'll probably do the same list on Thursday night, and I'll take a pad and pencil with me................ :)

It's so much fun doing a B2B - staff look at you and say, "Are you still here?" or "Did you come back?" or something else friendly.

Oh, RC also sent us a fruit basket...................

Now if only they would fix the airconditioning and the bathroom fan...............

They keep announcing in the Casino, "So and so just won $xxx on the slots" etc. - funny, that never happens to me!

G'night.

Hello.... If you get the opportunity... would you please "look up" Janet, Assistant Manager in the Windjammer and give her a big hug (virtual or real) from "Mom and Dad" (Doris and Harry). We were just with her last week... and miss her already. Thanks!!

Also.... Thanks for the Cafe Skans info. DH loves fried conch and is always search for new places. We will be there in October. Is it on Bay street? Any more details we need to know to find? Again, thanks.

We are on Enchantment B2B in October. Twice to Key West and COZ and once to Belize. Have you and Harry ever found any good conch on that itin? We also enjoy it.

Thanks!

Rick and Deirdra

P.S.: Carol, sorry to intervene on your thread for a conch question. Hope you have an excellent B2B!

Hi Carol

It was nice to see you onboard. Hope you are having a great rest of your cruise.

One question... How is it that me and Gmoney can be in the same room at the same time???? Perhaps we can ask Parrott Head LOL

Hey...another Janet fan.....isn't she great?. We love her to death!:D

I do assume we're talking about the same Janet. She was also our waiter in the main dining room. Such a sweet, sweet person and by far the best waiter we have ever had.
