Casino Royal "players club"

I am a little slow at times, maybe all the time...

This is starting to make even more sense to me. It was the CR that changed one of my bookings and the other she could not as we had passed it to our TA, The other was booked long before we began using the TA. She did give me a code, it was 16RC#### . Only reason I am hesitaint to give out the entire code, it maybe mine. I am told by my TA that is has now expired.

I am looking for better rates, of course. Some of the other perks that have been mentioned are not of the most important to me.

I searched the RCCL invoice from the cruise CR changed, and no code on that one either.

I will take the discount and attempt to book through the CR or my TA going forward. My TA did recommend to discuss the booking with the CR as they can offer better rates.

That code is a generic code that they put on the mailers:)

They are PROMO CODES

Nothing to do with the codes we are discussing

Happy Days!

One step ahead, and now two backwards...

Just when I figured out what I thought was going on, I spin backwards. Why did she give me a 30% discount on my fare rate and upgrade my room? If this was not a comp of some sort, why did she give it to us???

Hey, I will take it for sure.

The original post was asking about a Casino Players club, someone who bet tables at $25 a hand. Nothing about codes. The CR told me I was now a member of Club Royale. Is that the players club and how does it differ from the Y codes?

I can see our relationship is on a rocking boat right now but hope to make it better. Will still take that FREE drink you promised me.

Promos are exactly what they say they are

If I could post all,the flyer codes I have received in past year I would, but hunting through a years worth of emails to locate. nah!

Occasionally there are Cruises that are casino orientated.,,flyers are sent out with a PROMO CODE on them.

They might be book a Ocean view cabin and get a free drink

Or book a balcony cabin and get 30% off 2nd person.

I cannot answer your personal questions as to,why you received what you did

Juat enjoy the savings you received, don't stress it, and if you want some Y codes on your next booking, spend 5 figures in the casino:D

Happy Days!

Relationship:eek: my wife is on here

Just curious, does anyone know what code SZ02-CASINOSLOTS on my reservation means?

I will hazard a guess you have a $$$ amount on that line item, and that will be on a booking where you recieved a cash rebate

$200 from a out of the air guess

Happy Days!

My TA (who is a family member) is helping put together a big family trip on the Navigator next year. Because I'm a CR member, I called and made my booking through CR to get my casino rates (which are amazing -- $1,684 for a 9-night Southern Caribbean on a Balcony for 2). Once the rate and deposit was secured, I transferred the booking over to my travel agent so she can get the credit.

Just wanted to let people know that that is in fact possible, though you may not get your TA rewards, it still helps if you have a relationship with your TA.

The codes we have on our booking are:

YHO7-CLUB ROYALE

YHP5-CASINO SLOTS

I think the latter is for my wife. I don't play slots.

Nice,

The key is to book with CR then transfer, so you can confirm it cannot be done the other way round.

TIA

CR will not give TA any CR booking codes

I think someone said they gave their TA a code from CR to book

Maybe I am so lost in this program:eek:

Correct -- the CR salesperson implied that I had to book it, and that a TA couldn't book with casino rates.

Makes perfect sense as I thought, thanks for clarifying

Happy Days!

Just to clarify to everyone...your TA CAN call CR on your behalf and get casino rates ....from recent experience I know this :D. Then TA has the rezzy transferred to them so you get the additional perks added on from them ( OBC, wine, dinners, etc). Though I too prefer booking directly with CR for ease. Also, even if your rezzy is with a TA, still call CR about any ADDITIONAL discounts they may be able to offer you...they can apply these directly to your rezzy without going back thru your TA.....just have your TA print you off an updated invoice! :D

Will add to the discussion re: Codes

My husband and I are members of the Old CR VIP program.

Whether or not we have the YH07 code seems to depend upon when the cruise was booked.

Freedom (26 Jun - 3 July) originally booked Dec 2015 BUT his cruise is the rebook of a rebooked Empress (twice cancelled). This one has the YH07 code ($0.00) as well as a dollar fare discount (I do not know what the actual discount % on this cruise worked out to be as it was calculated entirely by CR and my TA as the result of Empress Gate. I know that, in the end, it was greater than a 50% discount off of the prevailing published rate) noted as "Casino Royale". There is also a $1000 OBC associated with this cruise from a FCC we received on a Feb 2016 sailing on Allure. This FCC has moved through all the Empress cancellation iterations.

Navigator (23 Dec 16 - 3 Jan 17) originally booked Jun 2015. No code for cruise fare discounts....just the dollar discount applied (44% off full fare) with the notation "Casino Royale". There are 2 additional discount codes that were added - YHP5 (Casino Slots for $200) and YHP (Casino Table for $100). These are remnants of the last cash rebates we ever received....and interesting as they have mine under slots when I never EVER play slots. Oh well...

Harmony (11 - 18 Feb 17) originally booked Sept. 2015. No codes of any kind...just the fare discount (44% off full fare) with the notation "Casino Royale".

Harmony (16 - 23 Sept 17) originally booked May 2016. The YH07 code ($0.00) along with the cruise fare discount (49%) noted as "Casino Royale".

Adventure (23 Dec - 30 Dec 17). Originally booked March 2016. No code...just the cruise fare discount (44%) with the notation "Casino Royale".

We always book our cruises directly with CR and then transfer them to our TA.

Makes sense

Our oldest two bookings are missing the code, the last 3 have it:)

I am sure for the sailing with no codes the Casino Hosts will still have a list of CR folk who will be on their sailings.

A quick phone call onboard from host to HQ if not on list will remedy that if required.

Thanks for the data.

%s are very nice:)

10 with the NEW Code YHO7-CASINO ROYALE $0.00

We have some consistency:)

There will be other codes

YHP06

YHP07 etc.. Etc..

These are old and reflect $ amount for discounts you are getting for table and slot play.

Just getting Confirmation on the meaning behind the YHO7 code, I have an answer just waiting for a second answer to collaborate the 1st answer.

Thanks for alls feedback

Just catching up on this thread after returning from Anthem cruise this past weekend. Today I received my confirmation for the next cruise we booked. Codes are YHO7 and YHP5 and YHP6.

Has anyone figured out what they mean yet? Host on Anthem told me program is not completely defined yet (as if I didn't know that) and there will be more news to come. Host was not as friendly or visited as much as on prior cruises. From reading here, sounds like the way it is now. Assistant host was much more communicative with all of us.

Luck to all (especially trying to figure the new codes out). They were handing out free certificates like lollipops last week.

Yes we do

YHP5

YHP6

YHP7

These are old codes related to SLOTS and TABLES and you will see $$$ amounts relative to discounts you have received on a future booking

These have been around for a while.

YHO7-CASINO ROYALE this is an identifier for the Casino Manager and Casino host so they know who their players are.

With the new database and CR VIP numbers no longer in use, this is a way to tie your C&A account to reflect you are a CR player.

None of these reflect Casino Rate for your booking

That will show at top as Casino Royale $$$$ and no code

Hope that makes sense

First time receiving any type of certificate and found out I am eligible for some some casino cabin pricing. I called the two TA's I use to have them make the booking, (So I might also get some booking incentive from them) and both told me that the booking must be made with the casino desk.

Do any of you use a TA so that you get additional benefit, or simply book through the casino desk?

Thanks M

Cruisegirl1,

You do have to go through Casino Royale to get the discount. However, you can call CR and authorize them to work with your TA on your behalf. I usually book direct with CR, but once we were doing a large family cruise and had to use a TA for the group and that was how I had to handle it.

I believe Graham is correct, when the program was changing this spring and I had a rebate to apply yet, the SZ02 code was the amount equal to my rebate.

I think I now understand. Took awhile. Lol

I am not being snarky here, but if you understand , you're probably way ahead of the rest of us......lol! I am just happy we all seem to be still getting decent discounts. CR has been "rolling out the new program" for over a year..... it's almost as bad as the IT department. I wish they would get with it instead of all of us prior CR VIPs trying to make sense of it.
