Casino Royal "players club"

Now more confused.... Your saying $ amount is not rewarded? I got a code but it was from Club Royale to pass on to my TA, who used it to discount my fare. I get flyers but tossed them as they related to slot play.

Are we talking only about slot play? Sorry to beat it to death but just about the time I think I understand, I only get more confused.

TABLES

to be rated you need to bet minimum $50 per hand at Blackjack

For minimum 4hrs

ROULETTE

$25 minimum per spin

SLOTS

$3 minimum bet per spin

These were the old guide lines, I am sure they are the same now, but not as transparent

We are table and slot players and fall into the criteria for Blackjack, Roulette and slots, so we have Slot codes, table codes and high percentage discounts.

Now we have a New code, which is the topic of this discussion.

If you have no codes, you do not meet the criteria

Now with the new program that is all up in the air, but we are seeing Old CR VIP members all have code YHO7 on their future bookings, which means we are being recognized :)

On another topic, I'm about to go on the Empress, and to my shock (although many might be happy) - I discovered that Empress is now touting itself as the only RCCL ship with a no- smoking casino. I spoke to CR - they had no idea, and I'm now planning on skipping the casino altogether.

I was on the Empress on May 28 and can verify that the casino was no-smoking. I didn't know that in advance, but noticed on the second evening that I had not smelled smoke. I don't remember signs being posted.

This is a casino program thread, please don't try and turn it into a smoking thread, we are not interested, thanks:)

This is good info to have. I regularly bet the minimum you suggest, but not all bets, and I have bet quite a bit more at times.

I guess I should just assume the discount they gave me, a code for my TA, was just a fluke.

I will take it regardless. I will continue to play tables.

How do they reward slot players? (Edited - my bad, I overlooked the $3 per spin)

First time receiving any type of certificate and found out I am eligible for some some casino cabin pricing. I called the two TA's I use to have them make the booking, (So I might also get some booking incentive from them) and both told me that the booking must be made with the casino desk.

Do any of you use a TA so that you get additional benefit, or simply book through the casino desk?

Thanks M

Always book through casino, that is why I thought it was strange a code being given out by CR to give to a TA.

I could not challenge it, as I never book through a TA

Have booked all our cruises directly through CR, best way to make sure you are getting all the discounts, credits and perks you are eligible for.

To be clear when you book through casino, casino rate is not combinable with balcony discounts and all the other offers.

You will still get a better rate with casino anyways if you are a gambler

We always forefiet balcony discount and BOGO offers and cruises still come out way cheaper with casino discounted rate.

Happy Days!

I do not smoke, but don't mind smoking in the casino it comes with the territory:)

So any joy Tom, do you have the new code, were you able to get further discounts when you called CR.

Happy Days!

I haven't called them yet. I did go back and see the 07/casino royal line entry on our invoice for the 5/19/16 Allure, whatever that means.

The host dropped by once, only as a follow-up to my inquiry on the first night regarding any cage cash. She indicated that it was built into my reservation. I went back and looked, and saw the $150 discount...

Other than that, the manager never came by to see us (at our nightly third base spot). As far as I know, the casino does not have a manager !! At least on the non-smoking side, I was the highest level player there. On most other ships, I seem to recall both the host and manager taking the time to chat a bit.... oh well, that's just that much more time I have to play, for better or worse!

I have noticed recently even when betting big, pit boss only comes over if they think I am counting the cards.

And i am always at 3rd base and take the next couple of boxes to the right as well:D

There has been less of a personal touch on our last 3/4 sailings if truth be told.

Just my opinion.

I'll be taking my first cruise with RCI in October aboard the Rhapsody. I play VP and slots as well as BJ and scraps. ADT with Caesars (7 Stars) is about $1200 daily in Theo. Also I have some play history with Mlife (Platinum level).

Do you think if I called the RCI casino number and tried to get a rate code that they would entertain the idea? Basically it would be an upfront comp!

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

As far as rating, Mr Wolf plays UTH and he averages $15-20 a hand. Which - if you know the game - is $45-60 per hand.

The Host and Pit Bosses on Liberty were very interactive with us - both at the table and on the floor. Oasis - nada.

I'm assuming this translates into little fish big pond....eg: In Vegas, they would pay attention to you at Freemont Street, but play like that at the Aria on the strip you wouldn't even be noticed!

We were Noir with Mlife back in the day, just never kept it going with the annual renewal.

Someone will be able to assist with combining MLife to CR and what it offers

I do not have the MLife number but there is a program to combine and get perks.

Anyone anyone,

Sorry not my area of knowledge:)

I'm now a "permanent" Platinum with Mlife (as long as their relationship with Celebrity continues). A few years ago I'd easily get to Platinum over a weekend. I was just shy of 1M tier credits one year, back when I think that was an automatic Noir. I know that they've made it much more difficult to get tier credits now, and of course Noir is by invite only. Safe to say that there's NO WAY that Noir is in my future. It doesn't help that I have not been to Vegas in THREE long years!

Just to confirm

The YHO7-CASINO ROYALE line item code is purely an identifier to inform the Casino Manager and Casino Host they have money coming on the ship;)

Have now heard this from 4 sources.

The #7 remains a mystery for now:(

This is NOT TRUE.. Yho7 does not specifically state that you have money coming.

I always get my cruises comped.. and of course, rebates have ended...

I have a cruise booked next month

my cruise reservation shows the yh07 at 00.00

and also a code that says slots (which has most of the comp value in it)

however, it's odd because I dont play slots. I play roulette with an average bet of $150 to $170 per hand) so not sure why it had a slot code

but I do not have any casino credit ( I do miss my $5,000 rebates though) hopefully they will bring the on board rebates back...

Where did I say that YHO7 means I have money coming...

Read all the posts and you will see we established it is an identifier to let casino manager and casino host know they have members boarding.(Money coming aboard)

4 different members with same answer from CR today:)

Please check your facts before you jump to conclusions:eek:

One item YHO7-CASINO ROYALE $0.00 10 people also concur ZERO $$$

What am I missing that you are seeing.

Not once have I said I have money coming against the New Code.

Happy Days!

Yes we will miss the rebates, but I am loving all the discounts I have been getting on 2 Royal Suites and 3 Grand Suites..

Now that is MONEY OWED:D

I think he meant that it's an identifier to the casino manager that they have a " serious player" coming onboard. Not that we are getting money - that the casino is getting money. :D

Mr Wolf doesn't play slots at all and our codes are the same - as are our discounts. Go figure.

I am glad some of us are on the same page.

We have seen codes just dropped in for Slots and Tables likewise

Also, the 5,6 and 7 for these codes is related to the discount rate.

But there is no correlation I.e 5 does not mean $500.

Just found this out today when enquiring about the YHO7 code

Happy days!

I am a little slow at times, maybe all the time...

This is starting to make even more sense to me. It was the CR that changed one of my bookings and the other she could not as we had passed it to our TA, The other was booked long before we began using the TA. She did give me a code, it was 16RC#### . Only reason I am hesitaint to give out the entire code, it maybe mine. I am told by my TA that is has now expired.

I am looking for better rates, of course. Some of the other perks that have been mentioned are not of the most important to me.

I searched the RCCL invoice from the cruise CR changed, and no code on that one either.

I will take the discount and attempt to book through the CR or my TA going forward. My TA did recommend to discuss the booking with the CR as they can offer better rates.
