Casino Royal "players club"

I have been trying to get thru to casino Royal and I am a VIPs casino player. I have tried all week, sent two emails and was on hold for 1/2 hour. I am very upset, I am looking for prices and more info.

If you are not yet a member of Club Royale, then there may not be much they can do as Royal Caribbean doesn't seem to recognize the status of members of other casino programs except for MGM Mlife.

Joining Club Royale requires achieving a certain level of play onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise. For slots players, that generally means earning 2,000 points ($5 wagered/point) on a week-long cruise. I'm not sure how they count table players.

You may be able to receive discounts or a comped cruise through a partnership with a land-based casino. Some casinos have partnered with Royal Caribbean to offer free cruises to higher-tier members of their programs.

I've never heard of the "Blue Card" but I'm a VIP in the casino. I hit VIP on my first Royal Cruise in 2013 while on board. They let me know immediately. I call Club Royal before each cruise and let them know what my sail date is. They then let me know how much is coming back to me. I've always been told to check in with the Casino Host and they give me free drink tickets. I've been told it's 5/cruise but the host always comes by and offers more or tells me to see them if I want any more. Once a VIP, always a VIP. My last cruise I gambled little as it was a port intensive med. cruise. Even though I didn't hit my 300 points/day I'm still a VIP and still getting cash on my next cruise in December. I am also an Mlife member (Gold). These perks are NOT combinable. I had to choose between the Mlife perks OR the VIP perks. My VIP perks were better so I chose them. Since I don't do tables, I'm not exactly sure how it works there. I've been quite happy with their VIP program on Royal and actually find it superior to Carnival's. The fact that I go to the cage and they leaf off cash is nice. It's not freeplay, it's actual cash :)

This is the blue card that others in this thread were talking about.

normal_IMG_0801.jpg

It's not necessary to have as one can just use one's SeaPass card in the machine. I was given this one because my SeaPass card wasn't working in the machines well, so they gave me this VIP card to use instead (or in addition, if I wanted to play two machines at once).

Once a VIP, always a VIP.

I'm not sure that this will be true as of next year. With the rumors of a new, probably tiered program coming to Club Royale next year, it's likely that members will have to re-earn their status each year. Yes, one will remain a member of the program, but the perks will probably be tied to their membership tier.

If so, that's the way Mlife works....would make sense that they take a look how they operate and follow suit if it is to their benefit to make changes.

This is how we joined in 2013. We played like we normally do in Vegas, and then the host told us that we had reached 2000 points, gave us a T-shirt and a sticker on our Seapass saying that we drank for free in the casino. Six weeks later, they emailed us our "BLUE CARD." We are also Mlife Platinum members so we earn Mlife points while gambling on RCL. We get offered a free cruise on Celebrity or RCL from each.

We make our cruise reservations through Casino Royale and they have always been very helpful over the phone. Sorry that they have been giving you the run around.

We just made reservations through Club Royal for the Oasis New Years cruise, then had it transfered to our normal TA. I play slots and VP. This will be our third Oasis trip. I get free drinks in the casino any time I want. I also get over $1K cash when I show up. The room rates were much lower than the site or my TA could get. I have an ocean large balcony with 3 people and the cost is less than 2 people and includes taxes, gratuities, and insurance. I am not sure what changes there will be next year. I am a 7 Stars at Caesars, and I wish I could transfer that over. On NCL, I get free everything.

Yes the new system coming out at year end will be 3 tiers based and annual requalification almost certainly will be part of new program. Also some real good perks are purportedly coming for higher tier CR VIP players...we shall see!

So 2,000 points in a week will get you in the club? The rep said I needed $5.00 a spin (slots) for 3-4 hours a day. Plus I needed to ask to be evaluated, at the beginning of the cruise. Why don't THEY pay attention to your slot ratings, themselves???

I believe the slot machines have a slot for your SeaPass card, so your play should automatically be monitored if you insert your SeaPass card.

No need to spend $5 a spin, I don't and have been in the clubs for many years. They are looking for someone to average 300 points a day or 2100 points on a 7 day sailing. The casino host has a report which indicates slot/video points being earned for each slot player. You must insert your seapass in each machine for them to track your points correctly. Have never been told I have to be re-evaluated at the beginning of each cruise. It may be that you are barely averaging 300 points a day, so they have to re-evaluate your slot play.

For the past few months on Liberty and Allure, the drink sticker was already on my seapass when checking in at the pier, so no need to stand in line anymore for the sticker. The sticker also applies to, no charge of 5% casino fee for cash withdrawals.

There are a number of Perks from MLife, such as free drinks, and internet. In fact, I'm taking a 'free' 3 day cruise via M-Life.

Does anyone know if Royal Caribbean will know my M-Life status already since I booked through Club Royale?

I had a great Comped Dec. Allure cruise, through myvegas/Club Royale! It included VIP Status in the casino which was comped drinks throughout the voyage, in the casino.

Great casino staff, including a outstanding VIP Host and great bartenders! I found the casino play to be very tight and really no winners. Being a Diamond, made the cruise, that much better as well...

Lastly, the new Diamond Lounge (where the Concierge Lounge was) is simply outstanding, amoung the very best rooms at sea. Really Allure, is the best ship I have been on her, it was a pleasure to spend 19 nights with her, in 2015.

The first night and day you can win. But after that forget it.

Thats what the manager told me and thats what I did. After trying to resolve this for a couple of weeks I just canceled my next three cruises.

Won 10 grand on Grandeur last year playing slots. It was day #6....:)

massfriends,

You educated me again! :) I didn't know the program was only 2 years old. That means that on my previous cruises it didn't exist yet - so that explains why I wasn't told by the staff. That said I have to say that the dealers have always been VERY nice on all the RC cruises I have been on. I have been treated to free drinks on occasion from the dealers and pit bosses based on my tipping and overall action (both of which were high compared to the average players around me), which I know is not the norm. So overall, I have been very happy with the Casino Royale. I may wait for RC to get the program in better order and consider taking advantage of it.

The program has been around a heck of a lot longer than two years. I've been a member for over 4 now. It changed names and benefits/features when they hooked up with MLife. I didn't ask to be entered, the casino manager came up to me while I was playing cards, and I was playing $25 a hand but, for much longer than two hours. My friend and I went on the cruise specifically to gamble and get away....

The perks are great if you can get in, discounted rooms through a special booking number that outpace any of the tier discounts, free drinks, on-board gaming money. I would say that you have to be on the cruise to gamble to get in though, I literally was gaming $25 a hand for probably 6 hours a day and they came up to me on the 5th day with the paperwork and a collared shirt.

To clarify, I do not mean a drink package sticker. I mean the drink sticker the casino gives you .

Sticker on card is applied by the casino host, once they check your CR VIP status.

This identifies to the bar service and cashier staff you are a CR member

No 5% cash fee and free unlimited drinks

The color of the sticker may also be important. (black = Noir);)

This is an internal joke for the lovely CR VIP community:cool:

People who get tickets, not stickers are being comped drinks

YES if you are stickered you can use everywhere in the casino, it has no value outside of the casino

Here is an example of my stickered sea pass card

Never paid for a drink, did not pay 5% and walked off the ship with plenty of cash and a few W2g's:o

Even if you play penny machines at max bet $5 $3 a spin you might end up getting stickered, but at $1.25 a spin dropping just $20, you might get a key chain.

You need to be considered a "high roller" by what you spend over the 7 days or duration of cruise.

Nothing is free, you will spend $$$$ to get CR VIP membership, but perks are very good

Happy Days!

Thank you PompeySailer. We have yet to be invited to the party, however we were comped our upcoming Oasis sailing through MyVegas. The T&Cs of the reward state DH will get free drinks in the casino and the Casino Royale rep I booked with said he would get a sticker on his card from the casino host. Are there limits to what can be ordered? The terms say no premium drinks. I am assuming he will be getting the standard sticker, unless they have a special one for MyVegas players.

"While playing in the casino, Cruise Certificate recipients will be provided with complimentary drinks (excludes Premium brands). This does not include other bars, lounges and areas of the vessels."

The blue card was given out on certain sailings years ago, they are worthless now....

We hand ours over to the host and casino manager, they can easily see your membership number, punch into the system and off we go!

We still have the ones we got given 14 years ago.

Agreed they have no monetary value:)
