Rare rafinmd Posted July 28, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I am so used to Allen Marine sending either St. Peter or St. Phillip to meet the NA and Volie but they've change again today' looks like St. Aqualina. Let's hope Volendam is in before the "Occasional Rain Showers" Roy
Happily@Sea Posted July 28, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Let's hope Volendam is in before the "Occasional Rain Showers" Roy I'm sure she and the occasional showers will arrive at same time. Wouldn't be a typical HAL sail-in without raindrops messing with the viewing. But we can hold out hope for a different pattern.

Rare rafinmd Posted July 28, 2017 #14 Share Posted July 28, 2017 They sure have a lot. When I was on the Kennicott last year I walked by their yard and wondered what all those boats did. Now I plan to be on one of them 51 weeks from today. I posted prematurely. St. Aqualina is headed up Tracy Arm and St. Philip is headed towards the Volendam. Rain came really early. Rare rafinmd Posted July 28, 2017 #17 Share Posted July 28, 2017 AIS is running behind but it looks like Volendam is meeting St. Philip about 10AM, should be just about per schedule but later than usual. Somebody's having some technical problems, my guess is National Geographic Quest. Roy

Rare Scrapnana Posted July 28, 2017 Author #20 Share Posted July 28, 2017 It was like this last season also - must be their normal weather. I saw more sunny days in the winter when I was checking the new dock construction. Too bad they can't have the warmer temperatures and sun at the same time.;)

Happily@Sea Posted July 28, 2017 #23 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Stupid me keeps forgetting the one-hour time difference, thanks for waking me up! :o It's easier for us on the east coast - just subtract 4 instead of 3. I have trouble with Bermuda - short season and 1 hour ahead. I mess it up all the time.
