Memorial Day Sale May19-28

I booked a cruise in April under the Memorial Day Sale. It went down $50.00 per person from last week. The same cruise in February is $150.00 per person less from what I was getting previously. I'm going to keep an eye on it and maybe it will get reduced around July 4'th. Regardless, even if I don't get a price drop, it's for our 10-year Wedding Anniversary, so we won't be cancelling. :D

Just in case anyone might miss this sale I can guarantee that there will be another one for 4th of July and Labor Day. Do I have a crystal ball? No, but history tends to repeat its self

Heck they may have a Father's Day sale. My snail mail and email was inundated with Mother's Day promos.

I saved 200.00 today on the Ruby for Sept 2016. It is not part of the Memorial Day sale, but I did a dummy booking anyway, since I was on the site.

I thought it was strange that the price I paid (before TA discount) was still listed as current, until I clicked on another Vista suite; the next page had the 200.00 reduction. My TA got the deal for me as soon as I called her.

So before this sale ends, I think it's a good idea to look at all pricing for any Princess cruises you have booked. Good luck!

Linda

Did just what you posted. There was no Memorial Day Sale Flag or advertising and the Princess page was the same as when booked. I continued on the Princess site and checked the same category cabin as mine and found a huge $1222 savings. I can't stop smiling tonight. Baltic Heritage on the Emerald, June 4 2016.icon10.gif I posted on the cruise roll call..hope others get the discount too.

I did a dummy booking myself and found a lower price for a cruise we already had booked. Our TA took a look and refared us at a $252 savings. Not as spectacular a drop as some but better than a sharp stick in the eye!

So I went in to cruise personalizer today and, out of habit, rechecked our 'saved' cruise price. It had dropped again - another $120! So that's over $200 per person this week. [emoji3]

I checked the price on our April 2016 Panama Canal cruise (18 days) and it had dropped $350 pp. I had my TA check, and got the new price, and with the drop in price, the insurance also dropped. Saved $749! :D :D

I had scored a great Canadian price for my Jan16, 14 nights on the Regal, and after seeing a reduction of price from some U.S. Sites, I contacted my TA. Their best price had actually gone up considerably from the deal I had scored. Congrats to those of you who saved $$$

I am one who has complained about how hard it is to track pricing on "Saved Cruises" but persistence did pay off!

I checked the Memorial Day Sale pricing and noticed our fare went down $50 pp. called Princess last night and got an even better deal! For some reason, I got a reduction of $100 pp. not looking that gift horse in the mouth!

This will be our first Inside so I'm determined to pay as little as possible. Going to be quite a change from our last cruise in a Window Suite! :D

Wish the magic "price reduction fairy" would wave their wand and do something to lower the prices on the Oct 25th Mexican Riviera cruise (on the Ruby).

Current "sale" is only $20 less than the previous offering :( That's not a price reduction, it's a joke.

Guess it doesn't pay to be a West Coast sailer.............

I think I got a good price on a Regal Eastern for March 6. I booked for a single for $789 total. Everything else I looked at for one person in a cabin was well over one thousand. May not be the best price ,but for my first cruise all alone I think it's pretty good. It's interior, which I've never had before, so we'll see.

That is a great price for a solo occupancy on a seven-nighter! Congrats!

That's a very good deal for a single. Enjoy it.

Glad to have all the mailings from PCL which led us to book a voyage in Feb on the Royal at a great price during this sale. We have four other couples joining us as part of this special pricing event with complementary gratuity included. This along with our OBC from FCC, Shareholder Benefit, Military, etc. makes it "almost free".

We just booked a Caribe balcony for this cruise at a nice discount.

This was from the current casino offer, plus the Memorial Day "sale" If you do a dummy booking, you have to go all the way to picking a cabin to see your discount price. Never hurts to check! We also booked the 28 day Hawaii/Tahiti for October 16, and were shocked to also receive the casino credit again! This time, I called a Princess representative to check prices, and am so glad we did.
Just saved $1100 per person on our September Hawaii cruise. Amazing!! We lost $300 OBC and our deposit became non-refundable but we have no plans of cancelling and couldn't pass up the incredible price difference even with the loss of the OBC.
Took advantage of those great prices too. Looking forward to all of those sea days.
