Emerald heads off across the Pacific

Emerald Princess is in Auckland today , 19th April , for the last time this season. She is heading off across the Pacific for a season in Alaska and then to South America next year.

Not me, I didn't get onto her, I almost did but I couldn't get it to work out with the timing. :(

She was our first cruise earlier this year and she has a special place in our hearts.

Got some pals on board this one for a nice long repositioning.

We thought she was too big, and more importantly too crowded.

They are at anchor in the blue lagoon in the paradise of Bora Bora , Tahiti , today.......

No. We did that in Moorea , along with the stingrays that nibbled your toes.:D

We had the stingrays also. We hired a car in Moorea and drove around the island. The sailaways were so memorable, I stayed on deck until the islands could no longer be seen.

They had a day in Papeete yesterday and today are anchored at Moorea.

Would have been a great chance to take the ferry over to Moorea and stay in an overwater bungalow overnight .

Expensive but wonderfully indulgent.:cool::cool:

We are booked for one the Golden in April 2019. Sydney to Vancouver via New Zealand , Hawaii , Tahiti and Los Angeles.

Another great one, We did the swims with Rays and sharks at both Moorea and Bora Bora, as well as exploring the islands on land, both were marvellous visits.

We thought she was too big, and more importantly too crowded.

At least she's newer and therefore in much better condition than the average ships Princess sends us. Majestic can't come soon enough to save the Princess brand down under.
