Has Princess discontinued the blue tote bags?

None on the Grand last week...

Just got off the Hawaiian sailing of the Grand and they were everywhere.

Just off the Regal. Blue bag in the room (mini suite). Sailed 2/12-2/19

Just home from Caribbean Princess B2B. No bag on the first leg. They told me at front desk that they had been discontinued, so we bought a nice bag. Second leg the blue bags were back, Go figure. Lou

we just got off the royal and they did give them out.

Just off the Crown. Blue bags were in the stateroom when we boarded

We did not get one on the Royal in January. We did get one on the Regal in November. I don't know if this is fleetwide, but we didn't miss it as we always take our own zippered beach bag.

We just got off the Royal yesterday and we were given a blue bag.

Disembarked this week from the Crown. I asked for one and my room steward obliged. They were not handed out otherwise.

2 days off Princess. Got them on 2nd or 3rd day, came over the PA that we would be getting them.

On another forum, someone mentioned that Princess stopped giving out the blue tote bags to each cabin a couple of weeks ago. This was a passenger who was just on the Regal. Does anyone currently cruising or just off a cruise know if this is true?

We were on a B2B cruise on the Royal Princess from Jan. 19th to Feb. 8th on the first cruise. No blue bage were given out. On the second cruise they were.

We just got home for a 10 cruise on the Royal. The blue bags were handed out and many were using them!

On the Ruby last week. No bag the first day. We asked, and were told they were out. Then everyone got one the next day!

I was on the Crown last month & they gave them out & when asked they gave us another one.

I'll be on the Ruby in April & will report.

On Regal now, no tote. Asked Room Steward and he said no tote this cruise, my friend was on the prior voyage and got a tote. Go figure?!

It seems it's a goner.

Suite and elite passengers are the first to get the blue bags.

Elite and lower receive the blue tote bags. Full Suite passengers receive the nicer, more durable two-toned canvas type bag.

They must have run out after April 2016 when we sailed in C422 to Hawaii :confused:

Was on regal last week and the blue tote was on our bed at check in.

We got blue bags on last 3 cruises in last 4 months- Caribbean, Ruby & Island.
