Has Princess discontinued the blue tote bags?

We were on the Regal for 2 cruises in December & we didn't get blue bags. We we're on the Caribbean just before that for 3 cruises & no bags. We were back on the Caribbean last week & again no bags. Going on the Coral Monday so wondering if there will be any on that ship.

Just off the Royal on Jan. 29th. No bags were given. We had brought our own bags for the beach so we were fine. I wonder what would happen if we all started bringing RCL, HAL, and Disney Cruise Line bags on board. We toyed with the idea of bringing our Disney Cruise Line lanyards, but thought that was rather rude so we brought generic ones.

 

Lol, could wear my Royal Clipper lanyard! Wonder if the cloth bags in the full suites have been discontinued too?

Did not receive one on our Royal sailng of January 19.

No bag on Caribbean Princess January 6th sailing. I really missed it so I'll bring my own from now on. Oops...guess that's what they want us to do.

Was issued a bag on Emerald Princess on 21st January 2017 in Sydney.

 

Perhaps they are out of stock on other ships and awaiting replenishment.

We did not get them on the Regal in December, but I did see some obviously new bags around the ship/ports.

We are on Crown now. We did not get one nor have I seen any.

 

They were of a very poor quality so we don't really care . Not worth worrying about. Not a patch on the ones we have from X.

Suite and elite passengers are the first to get the blue bags.

Just off the ruby yesterday and had 2 bags on bed when we got there. Also had them on the regal in October

On another forum, someone mentioned that Princess stopped giving out the blue tote bags to each cabin a couple of weeks ago. This was a passenger who was just on the Regal. Does anyone currently cruising or just off a cruise know if this is true?

Got a bag on the Star last month...apparently it's the latest "consistently inconsistent" Princess experience. ;)

We had them on the regal in November. I left them on the

closet shelf. We do not need anymore Princess bags.

Also,we never use them on port excursions. Too much of a sign that we are tourists.

It probably is obvious that we are tourists anyway,but we feel that we do not need to draw extra attention to ourselves.

Just got off the Regal last week. The hotel manager told us the problem was with their supplier and not that Princess had discontinued the bags. We wouldn't miss them but a lot of passengers would.

In July on the Grand we got the Blue bag when I asked our room steward why we did not get the good cloth one they give to the Suites, he said they will no longer be giving those out.....
