Know someone else has asked about staff on board; perhaps you did not see that post.

Can you kindly provide name of Captain, Staff Captain, Hotel Director, GRM, Captain's Club Host, Cruise Director.

Many thanks.

Yes I will in a later post. I need to find the information as I can't remember all the names.

Hi, are the drinks packages worth it? If possible, photos of drinks menus in regard to the packages. Doing the Panama cruise next April on the Infinity... First cruise out of USA - all the way from New Zealand[emoji2] Will also love to know about foreign currency for port visits - cash, card, etc? Replies can wait until you are back from cruising. Safe travels and enjoy[emoji106][emoji322]

We are surviving quite well on the Classic drink package. But we have access to Michael's Club as well where we get free drinks. We so far have used $USD and credit cards. You can find exactly what is included in all the drink packages on the Celebrity web site.

Hope you are having a great cruise!

We are in 1138 above the Oceanview Bar on an upcoming cruise. Could you check the bar area and tell me which side has ashtrays on the tables, if they still do have ashtrays. I read some threads that mentioned issues with secondhand smoke coming up from the bar at times. I would think it would only be an issue in port, as while sailing I cant see the smoke making it up to the balcony area.

Thanks in advance!

There has been no smoking in the Oceanview Bar aft on deck 10. No smoking in the casino. The only smoking area on the ship is on one side corner on the pool deck and a small area on deck 4 outside.

Can you tell me if there are things for a 13 year old girl to do onboard? I think the indoor pool is out for her because a lot of people are saying it's adults only and really more like a very large hot tub than a pool?

Sorry I can't answer this one. There are no small kids or teens on this cruise at all. I mean zero. Perhaps it is due to the itinerary and time of year. Just all of us old folk here!

We'll be in an RS on the Constellation next month - trying to find out if they still have CD players. Would you know?

We are in a CS and I did not see a CD player. Perhaps you can email Celebrity about your RS. Sorry.

Thank you Chris. What is your suite number? This is our first RS so I am thrilled about it.

We are in 6141. There is a YouTube video of that room and I think a current video of the same room after being remodeled will be cool!

This too will be our first Royal suite and we are really looking forward to staying in it and reaping the additional perks! Nice way to celebrate our 20th anniversary I think!

I'll post pictures on a separate thread during our cruise.

Our CS is quite nice (8106) and we love it! I would never call it shabby. Nor is it new. Overall I would say very good condition. A few things to note: The sofa has cushions that have been well used over the years so a little soft. Bathroom and bedroom - no complaints at all. Bed is very comfortable. Plenty of storage and closet area. One thing to note is that if you are very tall the tub is raised and you might hit your head on the ceiling if taking a shower. I'm 6ft and I would say there is only another 2" above my head. It is a bit tricky climbing in and out in the small space in front of the toilet. But that is all design issue and has nothing to do with condition. Also there is actually no electrical outlet at all in the bathroom.

When we stayed in a CS on the Summit we too were surprised at the lack of electrical outlets in the bedroom. I always pack a couple of extention cords now!

As for the shower in the CS, I'm 6' 4" and had to duck down in there so I feel your pain! The step into the tub is rather steep as well if I remember correctly.

The balcony was newly added and we used it a lot.

I hope you are having fun and again thank you for doing this!

Chris

We are here for 15 days on the Panama Canal cruise. If anybody has any questions feel free to ask. Using Xcelerate WiFi - not too bad!
Thanks for your kind offer to answer questions.

In the main dining room does Infinity still have traditional dining on deck 4 and Select dining on deck 5, or have they switched them?

thanks for your offer to answer questions. hope you can help me with this one.

i'm booked on the infinity in cabin 1130. this is an aft cabin on the end. i'm thrilled to have finally gotten an aft cabin, but besides the good things about it, i've also heard some negative things about it. they say that there are stairs from deck 11 to deck 12 and people walking up or down the stairs look right into the balcony. is this true? can you check it out for me please? is there an unobstructed view from the balcony? is there a lot of noise from the oceanview bar below?

thanks in advance.

Thanks Tee Rick for this thread. We got upgraded to a CS on Connie next month, and your comments so far have been very reassuring. We don't expect an M-class ship to be brand new -- "patina" is a good word for a classy lady like this! The only negative I have heard about the CS suites is noise in the bedroom from the adjacent public corridor -- has this been a problem for you?

The Xcelerate WiFi for 15 days is $199. Since we are Elite members we paid $139. I will try to post some photos. Outside movie area on the Terrace on deck 12 is quite nice - it is crowded during the day as people use it as a sun deck taking advantage of the padded comfortable lounge chairs.

Thank you for your reply!

I wonder if the WiFi would be half of that price on a 7 day cruise? If it's unlimited and actually works, the price doesn't sound that bad at all.

The outside movie area sounds wonderful.

Enjoy your cruise!

Hi, we have a Mac Air with Safari. Do you know if the ship's (Infinity) wifi operates with Safari? We are travelling to Alaska in June.

Your Apple Mac Air will work just fine. Actually any Apple, Windows, ios, Android device will work. If you can connect with it using your WiFi at home you can connect with it on the ship.

I am thrilled that the xcelerate upgrade has been done!!!
