Disney Cruises are sailing here in Australia for the first time (this summer I think). The website crashed when the bookings went live and the cruises booked out extremely quickly. The prices are absolutely ridiculous. We have never been a Disney family so thankfully my hard earned money is safe. Virgin Cruises are sailing from Melbourne at the end of the year for the first time too and I would have loved to have booked one of their cruises with my DD. Timing didn’t suit though.

@QueSeraSera Welcome to the group Warren. Don’t worry about keeping up. Just post whenever you can. You posts are appreciated. @dani negreanu Glad you to hear from you and that you like the city. Enjoy. @grapau27 Don’t know where you are right now but your meals look superb. @DaniDanielle Happy Anniversary @Jimbo your meals look superb too. Is that a memorial garden in one of your photos? I assume the fencing is for the deer?

Public holiday today and a lovely day weather wise in Sydney for the Dawn Services and other remembrance services held for ANZAC Day. My FIL served and this photo was taken in Martin Place in Sydney CBD, before he boarded a troop ship departing Sydney. My BIL took a present day photo recently in the same location. Lest we Forget. As Sue mentioned, it’s autumn here. A little bit of colour on a walk this afternoon.

You can still snorkel at Amedee Island (via ship tour) and Signal Island (via private tour). They are are not on the prohibited list.

I remember my daughter going off to a 10 day Scout camp. She wore brand new white sneakers. One of the Scout leaders from another group told me after camp that she took one look at the sneakers and thought to herself, oh no, we have a little Princess here… She soon discovered that my daughter would participate in absolutely everything and deliberately wore those sneakers for a before and after photo. Hope your grandson had a great time at camp and I feel for the camp moms unpacking the bags after camp.

Cool & drizzly Saturday in Sydney. Went to the charity store (very busy on a wet weekend) and added to my tbr pile. I haven’t read JP Pomare before but I’ve seen good reviews. Tonight, I am off to the theatre with family & friends. DH is respecting his friend’s paranoia and not coming (although he is symptom free and according to the official Covid guidelines is permitted out and about). Binge watched HALF of The Diplomat with Keri Russell last night (no spoilers please). Having watched & enjoyed The Americans, I am enjoying this new Netflix series. Keri Russell’s character very reluctantly posted to London as the American Ambassador with Rufus Sewell as her ex-diplomat husband, joining her and causing a stir.

That’s really weird. Clearly she was a member of staff. Why would she exit? Why wouldn’t she just move her car to another spot in the carpark? And unless she is a brand new staff member why wouldn’t she know how to exit the carpark? And why didn’t another staff member move her car whilst she was in surgery? Who sits in their car talking on their mobile phone for 15mins whilst people are waiting? I would be standing on the drivers side knocking and gesturing for them to move asap…. And if a senior member of staff, they would have their own parking space…

Royal's ships 2023/24

Having docked at Eden on the Coral Princess, I was surprised that the Majestic Princess is not docked but will require tenders at Eden. Obviously it’s a bigger ship than Coral. -

Ovation is due in at Eden in Nov 2023 & March 2024. Does it dock or tender at Eden? -

So only 2 ships returning? Quantum out of Brisbane and Ovation out of Sydney.
