    Greg,

    If you want to do his B2B itinerary like what he booked, you better get packing because it's only being done this year(2024) by Royal, nothing for 2025 like this.

    Maybe look at other cruise lines.

    @Sea Dog if you are interested in the fjords cruise; which is what we will be on may 30, there are somewhat similar itineraries on the celebrity apex next year.

    From what I understand, Pinnacles are supposed to get the paper copy of the cruise compass automatically.  Not sure what the set up is for others.

    So many of the things we took for granted is going away.  😞

    I went to guest services every morning on our jewel cruise last November and asked for one.  It’s a few pieces of paper, I don’t understand the big deal.

    I would love to know what you thought of the Eclipse vs the refurbished Summit. We are looking at an Eclipse sailing out of FLL and my other choices are Beyond and Reflection. The pictures look like it is in need of a lot of love. And has it been refurbished at all? I do see it got the blue hull and outside stuff done, but am interested in learning about the inside.

    @Arzeena and @mets07 same here…looking at Jan 11 2025.

    We have been on summit twice. Solstice , reflection, equinox and edge.   We do lean towards celebrity more now.  We have silhouette booked for September

    Do you ever have work days that crush your soul? That’s been this week. Sorry if that seems harsh but I’m being honest. If you normally follow me.., I could use an iguana today.
    Mr. Megan is still napping in the room. The kids are loving the pool. We have googles and snorkels and competitions to touch the bottom. I need to flip my funk. Maybe my 🥎 girls can do it. I’m tuning in.

    @MeganGC1983 so sorry to hear this.    I hope you don’t have to work while on this cruise.

    As always, may you and your family have calm seas, wonderful weather, so much fun and (adults) amazing cocktails 🍹 😊

    Great itinerary. We did the Jewel out of Amsterdam to the fjords last year. A very memorable experience. Had an aft balcony. Wonderful views. Hope your fjord weather is like ours—- it was 84 degrees in Flam.

    @mac_tlc we are on the next cruise and I remember your amazing live last year.  Forgetting if you posted your experience with departing Schiphol   If not, can you advise any tips on navigating process?  Thanks!

    Hey! Hey! Hey! It’s almost time to set sail aboard the beautiful Allure of the Seas. I hope you’ll all join me as we sail on Royal for the first time in a long time with all the Bahamas fun, drink package shenanigans, and kid crap anyone could hope for.

    For those that are new, welcome! This is my 15th LIVE… wow!

    For the regulars, buckle up. You all know how this goes. Start your livers and pack your patience because this is a kid cruise.

    After 8 cruises without them, my 3 yahoos are coming along and we are sharing a singular cabin. It’s only 4 nights, how bad can it be?!

    We fly out early Sunday morning, so grab your virtual suitcase or two (it’s Southwest after all) and join us on this beginning of summer “sail”abration.

    @MeganGC1983 woo hoo!  Following 😊

  7. @JamieLogical   Jamie I am thrilled you are doing another live and even more so on  Princess.  We were loyal to rccl for a very long time.  However, giving up on pinnacle status (would never reach for years so d+ it is) and better pricing have gone on a few celebrity cruises and one ncl in the last few years.  Our first and only Princess cruise was on the golden in 2004 and had a wonderful time. We then went on the rccl navigator later that year and were blown away by the ship and entertainment and never went back.  Now considering Princess  due to new amazing ships and added packages that include Wi-Fi, drinks and Grats.

    Would love to hear a comparison to ncl or celebrity to what Princess offers and evening entertainment.

    again, thanks!

    I can't really compare Odessey to her sisters as she is the only Q class ship that I have been on. I love the V/F/O class ships. I really like Royal Pronenades and thought I would miss it. But I ended up also liking the Royal Esplanade. Odyssey has plenty of activity and also very nice places for down time. I definitely suffer from FOMO and though I love O class I find that I don't relax much as there is always something going on. I miss the Aqua Theater when on Odyssey but there is plenty that I like to make up for it. I don't think Q class entertainment matches up to O class. There are plenty of food options, I really like her Schooner Bar and Pub. The enclosed solarium comes in very handy at times. I've been in there during rain storms and sometimes just to get out of the Caribbean heat.

    I think she is a very classy ship and I have really enjoyed the vibe each time that I've sailed her. And since I am a big Windjammer person, it is an area of Odyssey that I really appreciate for its design, function, and food.

    @Ocean Boy agree on the windjammer on q class. It is set up very well  we love the oasis class best for cruising Allure #1 solely because of mama Mia. We saw it for the first time on quantum.  Oasis now for aqua 80 and  symphony for hiro.

    I hope you don't mind me adding my two cents to this thread. I love talking about Odyssey.

    @Ocean Boy  we are hoping to cruise on the odyssey sometime soon.  We have been on the quantum (inaugural) and the anthem 3 times. Would love to know what your thoughts are regarding experience. Just based on deck plans, I would say addition of Izumi hibachi and playmakers are a plus for sure. Thanks!

    Went to brunch and we really didn't care for what we selected.  Had both had fresh squeezed OJ and it was warm and my cappuccino was cold.  I opted for chicken and waffles and it wasn't good.   My girlfriend opted for french toast which she didn't like much.

    Since we didn't eat much of anything for breakfast, we decided to have a snack at Playmakers which we really enjoyed.  We split the onion ring tower and a hamburger.  Both were really great.   Had a Black and Gold cocktail, which was really tasty.   It's five o'clock somewhere, right?   We didn't finish the onion rings or the burger and fries.   Need to save some room for Wonderland tonight for an early dinner.

    I have my meeting with my boss in about 1/2 hour, I think it will be short.

    @Joe33472 we love the onion rings but if the order is only for two people, I do think it’s too much. A half order would be terrific.
