  1. ‘Explora’, Nashna, I believe you mean. There’s going to be a fair bit of confusion when it, (World)Europa and Euribia are all sailing.
  2. You set your own pin when you register on the slot machines - it’s a very easy process and, as others have said, the casino staff will assist if you have any problems.
  3. Thank you! 🙏. I was hoping someone would answer in this vein.
  4. Where are you seeing the prices? I’ve looked at the German online TA; they’re not showing there. (Slightly off-topic). I did see prices for a 12 night repo on Euribia in April 2024 from Genoa. Cheapest balcony price is €1319; a YC1 is more than 3 times the price at €4499 pp!!!!
  5. I’ve heard that it may not be til at least November and was wondering if the points would be added before the X cruise, should the two systems not be uncoupled before then.
  6. I know that but they gave me points from an X cruise.
  7. If our Azamara points for our upcoming sailing are included, we’ll go up a tier. We’re on X 2 weeks later; will our higher level be recognised by X?
  8. Those items aren’t showing on the app for our September cruise (in an SS), just the regular items.
  9. In very many cases, the tour operators that the ships use are the same ones who provide private excursions and you’ll find that, in a lot of cases, tour busses tend to arrive at each of the tourist spots on your excursion around the same time, as they offer similar routes.
  10. I’ve eaten many times in buffets on ships over the years with just the usual irritations of queue jumping, slow choosers (you know the ones - can’t make up their minds what they want and hold everyone else up), wasters who pile their plates up high with everything, then can’t finish it all, etc. We’re on Azamara in less than 3 weeks, then Edge a couple of weeks later; the buffet offerings look very appealing to us (much better than MSC, which is mainly what we’re used to) and we’ll definitely be trying them out. Thankfully I’ve never seen anything that grossed me out, before, other than plates being loaded with starters, mains and desserts all in one pile. 😱😆
  11. Dodging the onslaught and barrage that come from raising the subject. 🤣🤣
  12. I’d never have any opened bags left so won’t ever get an opportunity to. 🤣🤣🤣
  13. Roll it there Róisín - lol. 🤣🤣🤣 I remember when it was “Roll it there, Collette”. 😂😂
  14. Click on the profile icon and you’ll find it.
  15. Who said anything about lousy tours??? The ones we’ve booked are ones we would do privately, otherwise (and would be a fraction of the cost of the ship excursions). The OBC is for shore excursions, only (we had this confirmed by our TA) so we’ve booked using this rather than spend more money paying for non-ship tours. PS - The OBC is NOT “free”. You can be sure that the bean counters have factored it into the cruise fare.
  16. I reckon it’s a nod to the use of the word ‘duck’ in the thread title.
  17. I like the buffet concept but have been really put off by what I’ve read here on the boards.
  18. Tried editing my previous post having read this one since. I’d planned to bring my own tonic as I really can’t use that Royal stuff. Thanks for posting this. 🙏
  19. 😭😭😭😭 On a serious note, thank you for the updates. Wonder if that Speciality Restaurant package will be available on Journey 🤔. Sounds like terrific value. Is there a service charge added? Delighted to hear your cruise is going so well. Hoping to embark J this day 3 weeks. 🤞😁
  20. 👍 It’s 45 days out for our cruise (19th July for a sailing on Sept 3rd).
  21. We’ve booked a number of the ship’s excursions but only because we have $1000 shore excursion OBC included in the fare. I wouldn’t book any, otherwise. They are waaaay overpriced!
  22. I read somewhere very recently that there’s going to be a charge levied for day trippers to Venice. https://www.travelandleisure.com/travel-news/venice-tourist-travel-fee-day-trips
  23. MSC have infinite verandahs on the currently being built World Europa.
  24. That 17 night one on Divina would still class as a B2B as it returns to Miami mid-cruise.
  25. We did C and A on an MSC repo, too. Funny, we would love to revisit Aruba. Looking at other cruise lines who offer sailings to the ABCs from Florida, rather than having to do them on repos.
