  1. So, for this 16 day cruise, BSE with Plus: Plus costs $108/person per day?
  2. I was playing around with looking at different cruises. An hour ago, the standard fare including plus. Now, the standard fare does not include plus. You have to select it, and pay the $60/day. So, Best Sale Ever does not include Plus for free!
  3. Yep. That's why the r/t from LA stops in Mexico on the way back. IMO, it's a really pointless law.
  4. Unless I'm not understanding things, Best Sale Ever is available for Alaska 2024. It seems you can select both "standard" and "plus" fare options, but you'll get the same inclusions either way?
  5. Glad it was signature required, whether UPS or USPS.
  6. It's been awhile for me also, so it might have changed. I had to download the app to my phone, and sign up through that. Once that was done, I could log on with my browser.
  7. That would be fun. But, no point in that trip if we can't spend time in Hawaii post cruise, which would make that a (really amazing) 3 week trip, including travel. Still waiting to see if Princess will do the summer r/t from LA in the summer. If they do, I think we'll put a refundable deposit down on that, and then decide between that and land only trip.
  8. That would be great.... do you know of any that sail when school is out?
  9. On line check in use to be earlier. Now it's 14 days, 16 for suites, diamond, platinum. This is when you select your arrival time. Boarding zone is correlated to the arrival time you get. Boarding typically begins 1-2 hours after the earliest arrival time.
  10. FWIW, I emailed then, and this is the response I got: Dear Member, Thank you for contacting us regarding Carnival Gift Cards. Gift cards under $300 are shipped via USPS, while gift cards over $300 are shipped via UPS. Tracking information may or may not be included in the order details. Thank you for being an Allstate Rewards member! Customer Service
  11. Does this include summer 2024 north america itineraries?
  12. Thanks, this is really helpful. I'll definitely scratch Meridian off the list, as I wasn't too keen on 3 hours Sunday morning anyway. Should have mentioned, we depart Aug 13, so hotels are less expensive, anyway. But, if we drive all the way to NOLA, we wouldn't be able to see much before the cruise anyway. Maybe walk around in the morning, but we'd be pretty tired from all that driving. We plan on picking our arrival time at midnight 14 days out (Carnival Glory). The plan is to shoot for an 11 am arrival time, which would translate to driving into the port around 10:30ish.
  13. We're cruising out of New Orleans. Trying to decide where to spend the night before the cruise. We'll have about a 16 hour drive, total, but looking to leave after work on Friday for a Sunday departure (not sure we can get that Friday off). With dinner and traffic on Friday evening, we plan on stopping Friday night with about 12.5 hours left to drive on Saturday/Sunday morning. Coming down I-59, our choices look like: Meridian, MS: leaving 3 hours Sunday morning Laurel, MS: leaving 2 hours Sunday morning Hattiesburg, MS: leaving 1.5 hours Sunday morning Slidell, LA: leaving 0.5 hours Sunday morning Drive all 12.5 hours on Saturday
  14. I meant it was weird that @Italy52 could NOT see them.
  15. That's weird. I've never sailed Princess before, and I can see prices for Alaska 2024.
  16. My guess is they got rid of it because people they thought masses of people would invoke it if there was one case of covid.
  17. I see the Europe itineraries (no prices, I'm not elite). But, no NA.
  18. Something's happening... can't see any cruises anymore!
  19. Hi all. I haven't been on this thread since Covid. Do they still ship the physical cards federal express? Looking to buy a $1000 card, and I really don't want it sent USPS. Lots of mail thefts in our area recently! Thanks!
  20. In most ports, earliest arrival time is 10:00. But, but all. Before covid, FTTF could arrive prior to their arrival time. I don't know if that's still true. When boarding starts (often around 11, but can vary a lot, as many things effect when ship is ready), FTTF will be called after wedding, suites, diamond;, and platinum. After FTTF, boarding zones will be called, and boarding zones correlate with arrival times.
  21. First: as stated above; this are arrival times to the terminal, not boarding times. Did everyone plan on arriving to the port together or separately? If you are arriving together: you can get there at the early time, and those with later times will have to get in the early line, and may have to wait a bit to enter. Or you can ask arrive at the later time and go in together, but suite and FTTF can use the priority line. If you all arrive late, you may be able to board right away, together, depending on when boarding starts. If you arrive early, priority groups can board early or wait.
  22. So, I thought I'd come back to share what Carnival claims is a difference: "Specifically, our tour is an immersive tour focused solely on the Altan Ha Mayan Ruins with lunch and beverages included. This tour is a general tour that visits Altan Ha along with key historical sites in Belize City. These tours are not comparable. Rest assured you are getting the very best tour for the very best price. " Applicable portion of tour excursioneer discritption starts with: You’ll meet your guide outside your Belize cruise tender terminal and start your day with scenic sightseeing drive through Belize City. On your drive, you will learn about and then goes into detail about what you will see Applicable part of Carnival excursion description: Scenic Drive: Enjoy a scenic drive through part of the city and countryside while your guide speaks on Belizean culture and history. without any further description. Both tours are 4 hours, both tours state 1 hour transportation each way plus lunch, which leaves max 1.5 hours at the ruins. Shore excursioneer states you get this 1.5 maximum ruins time. Unless I'm missing something, I believe these tours are exactly identical. The only difference is the level of detail given in the description, but not in the tour itself. Any suggestions on who I could appeal this to?
