  1. We just drink the free water on board. But, for some excursions, bringing bottled water from the ship was necessary (like our hike through the forest at st. Kitts). Do they sell water by the bottle? If so, how much?
  2. Yeah.. and all the pictures will have either tomato soup stains on shirts or mustard on ties.
  3. Is it on your princess account? If not, I wonder if it's a scam to get your info. Did you call princess directly to main number?
  4. If you definitely will get the 5 pics, the package will save money. Maybe $25 for 5 pictures? However, sometimes the photographers are less than great- especially if there are long lines and they are rushing people through. And, if so, you may be paying a lot for so so pictures, if you don't get a chance to go again.
  5. On the one hand, you have the obnoxious ones that save a whole row for people that show up last second or not at all. But you also have someone running out to use the restroom, and expecting their spouse to hold their seat. This is why is hard to actually enforce. Of course, if people had common courtesy, it wouldn't be an issue.
  6. Yep, still waiting on what the Enchanted and Emerald are doing summer 2024.
  7. Even if they allow same day add ons, there is always the possibility that they sell out for the day, so if it's something you really want to do, I would book in advance. As for whether it's allowed as availability permits; I would be very surprised if they said, "Yeah, we have room for more people, but we don't want your money."
  8. Haven't been there yet... but we're looking forward to going to De Palm Island in July!
  9. How old is she? Get a really good print out of the image on the phone.
  10. Well, if the above schedule is still accurate, Enchanted is scheduled for dry dock this spring march 29-April 15, and princess.com shows no cruises for those dates on enchanted, so I’d say that schedule is still accurate. If so, then a dry dock in 2024 seems very unlikely. Now, why there is no schedule yet for enchanted, or emerald also, is a question I would like to know, also. Trying to decide between a cruise and land vacation for that summer, and need to know schedules and prices!
  11. If you don't have your card yet, how do you know where your muster station is?
  12. Enchanted, Emerald, and Diamond don't have anything past April 2024. We're tossing about the idea of either a Greenland or Hawaii cruise, but we need dates and prices!
  13. I think 3 hours sitting on the bus (r/t) is too much for the 4 hours or so (max) you'd get in the park. Those port times kind of stink for Kennedy space center, though. We did that as a port excursion and it was great, but our hours in port were 8am-6pm. They close at 5pm. Personally, I would do an Everglades tour. Or just relax on the ship.
  14. We're doing the ship's everglades excursion. Price is very reasonable (Carnival). $60 adult, $45 child. Admission to the Everglades is about $30pp, and a transfer is, at best, $15pp. Charging $60/45 for the convenience and ease is fair, IMO.
  15. I guess better breaking an ankle on the last day of the cruise than the first day! Did you bring a fan, or ask for a fan? We'll be a group of 8, so we'll probably have a MDR table to ourselves, I'm guessing. Though, we have had fun with other groups on prior cruises. How were the main shows?
  16. My wife and I have been on the exact same cruises. She gets a ton of email offers, I get none. Her VIFP rates are always a lot better than mine. Both of our accounts are used about equally searching for cruises, also.
  17. You can also use them to pay for things in advance, including shore excursions and restaurants.
  18. It seems Emerald and Enchanted don't have their summer schedules out yet. Maybe one will be east coast (Carribean and/or New England-Canada-Greenland), the other west coast (Mexico/Hawaii)?
  19. I thought when you booked a "plus" or was for the 1st two passengers only? Not necessarily all adults.
  20. I would have them try the kids club the first day, see if they like it. My two kids are best friends also, and, the way it worked out, seemed to always just miss being in the same group. But, they still loved going and were there most of the day. Also, there were times their groups would do things together, so they liked those times also. Dr. Seuss breakfast is a must. Also, make sure you go see towel animal theater. Another must for the kids.
  21. I'm guessing the really fast turnaround time is a result as they are only taking it for cruises between now and July... and there aren't as many new bookings in that time period anymore. If/when they approve it for the next year in April, I'm guessing they'll be flooded with requests, and the turnaround time will greatly increase.
  22. Very confusing. If it is a "private beach" and thus except from the law, wouldn't hotels, restaurants, and such, also be "private property? " Also, could the cruise ships themselves be considered hotels? Too bad that article did not go into more specifics. And, if currently unknown how the law will be interpreted and enforced, it should say so specifically.
  23. The point is I'd rather spend the $3 or so and not breathe in chlorine gas and whatever is in the water they get while at port. I'm more concerned about that than residue.
  24. The dining time change is a perk of FTTF. Without it, you would have been waitlisted.
