We absolutely loved the Divina. We were booked on her again last year, but the cruise was cancelled.

Getting money back from MSC is harder than pulling teeth. They just hope you'll go away.

We went for an aft balcony, which we loved.

I don't know of any insurance that pays if you just miss your cruise because of flight delays. If you book your flights through the cruise line, they will wait if it's not too long or they will get you to the next available port.

I think Basecamp has both, extra and complimentary, depending on what you want.

I have a smart phone, but only use it as a phone. I print the docs after checking in on my PC. When on board, the phone goes in the safe.

The only way the Icon or the Star would be affordable to me is with a group rate.

It happens to all cruise lines at different ports or private islands. Not a problem for them.

We love celebrity, and are booked non Retreat on the Ascent. We've been on the seashore and the Divina in the YC, and like the OP, rarely left the YC due to overcrowding of the ships, along with understaffing. The only times we left the YC were for a couple of shows, because our butler lead us down to the theater and they have reserve seats for the Yacht Club. Would we do it again? Definitely, because you can't beat the price for what they give you, but I would not book a non Yacht club cruise with MSC.

We've done the YC on the Seashore and the Divina, and definitely prefer the Divina, but we're booked on the Seascape for 2025 because it will be in Galveston, and we can drive to the port.

These aren't nickel and diming. The sales have been going on forever, as is the spa. If you want to purchase, then do it. If you don't want to spend extra, that's very easy. and nobody will give you dirty looks.

We did that several years ago on a 10 day Serenade cruise. I think there were 3 days left in the cruise when it became available.

We've never paid for these items at Coco Cay. There's food all over the place, and umbrellas were already there at the free lounges.

They don't want anyone that's not part of the crew doing their own thing for entertainment. What individuals might think is great and professional may not be to the majority of passengers.

The problem with the Haven is that it's at least twice the price.

I've been in the YC 3 times on 3 ships and never used it. I'm on vacation, and am never in that much of a hurry that a few minutes will be the end of the world.
