  1. There are no massive sales anywhere. Not even minimal sales.
  2. In over 25 cruises among several cruise lines, I've never had anything disturbed on my lounges.
  3. There's no advantage or disadvantage other than giving them money before you have to.
  4. I'm Diamond and the 4 drinks a day are good for me. If I want more, i just pay it.
  5. I'm a celebrity fan, but Holland has better itineraries and much better pricing.
  6. Any shows, and any dining areas, except maybe the buffet, which is already noisy.
  7. I also pay up frone, then I'll tip extra while on board to people that help or serve me.
  8. I've been looking at Alaska for 2025, and it's still included. The only thing gone was the $25.00 deposit.
  9. NCL, and some of MSC still have a cigar lounge, and most Celebrity ships have a lot of very covered areas for smoking.
  10. We were on deck 10 on the beyond, and it was quit as a mouse. Avoid deck 7 because it's right over Eden.
  11. My wife did it on the Equinox and loved it.
  12. Resonable prices on the Icon? Heck, you can't get reasonable prices on the Wonder.
  13. That eliminates Princess for our future cruises. I smoke cigars, and that was the only comfortable place.
  14. There are ports that require sales tax on the ship. This pertains to all cruise lines. It happens in Galveston, and I believe, in Miami. Even if you have a drink package, the tax is added in the ports, and shows on your statement.
  15. If you're doing refundable deposit, then book now, and if the price drops, which I doubt, then refare.
  16. I would keep the Sunset Veranda, which is a real balcony. We had one on the Beyond and loved it. The walking to the elevators never bothered us, and I'm 81 and my wife is 72.
  17. I don't care how old the ship is, the cabin should never be dirty, or have anything left in it by accident by a lazy cabin attendant. I'm usually the last one to complain, but that would have been brought to somebody's attention that had the power to get it corrected. At that point, I wouldn't care who got in trouble.
  18. I believe that most airlines will book at 330 days. This has to be 330 days from debarkation, not embarkation if you're doing round trip.
  19. If you're sailing in a regular balcony, the S Class have real balconies, while the E class has the IV's.
  20. Celebrity's prices have gotten insane. That's the only word I can use to describe them without offending anyone.
