    I never tip pre cruise. I do tip extra at the end of the cruise. After some 25 cruises, the only time I didn't tip a cabin attendant was on the MSC Seashore because she was awful.

    Only Royal has the Crown ( used to be Diamond ) lounge. Royal does a lot more for Diamond than Celebrity does for Elite.

    That's correct. My mistake, sorry. I looked at the Edge itinerary, and am unimpressed. We were on the Ovation last year with a much better itinerary. I guess we'll go back to Royal or Princess. We love the Edge Class, and that would have been our 1st choice.

    My problem isn't so much that there's a fee, but the amount. $89.00 is much too much. I can see $25.00 or something in that area.

    The sale is on the cruise planner. Not the cruises.

    Bookings are open now for Alaska, 2025. Only 2 ships. The Edge from Seattle, and the Summit from Vancouver. The Summit offers round trip and one ways.

    Royal and Celebrity have real discounts on cruise planners. Haven't seen anything on Princess.

    The cheapest hotels are by the airport for the most part. The shuttles are arranged and paid seperately.

    None of the cruise lines break down the gratuities.

    Probably Jason Liberty has cut back on decorations so he can have a bigger bonus.

    I can't believe the $89.00 charge for the rope course. Part of paying more for a RCCL cruise used to be that the extras were no extra charge. Now that's changed, and my dollars will change with it.

    I just upgraded for $6.99 on the Ascent for Jan 2025 with the Black Friday sale. At that price, i couldn't refuse.

    We've taken the White pass twice. Once round trip train, and one train up and bus back. I would do the second one again. Great scenery looking the other way.

    The only thing I got was a $6.99 Premium drink package upgrade.

    The best I've seen on Princess's website is 50% deposit. The rest of it is garbage.

    I've been on the Beyond and the Equinox, and loved both. For a $5000.00 difference, I'd go with the Equinox, and have a real balcony.

    I'm not on the Ascent, but other posters here have said the app isn't up to date with the menus.

    Every cruise line that has Invicta has the same 75% off, but the list is so inflated you have no idea what you're getting.

    I just upgraded my drink package for my Jan. 2025 Ascent cruise for $6.99pp/pd. The original price was $15.00, then it went to $13.99. For the $1.00 discount, I passed, but just for ha has, I went to the site tonight, and wala, it was $6.99 so I grabbed it, very confident it won't go down any further. If it does by some miracle, I'll just cancel and rebook. It was all done with OBC.,

    Go into a local package store and you'll find that bottles if almost anything are going up just about weekly.

    You can do the North Star and the I Fly for free on certain days. Neither is anywhere near $89.00 on charged days. If people don't go, then either the price will drop or will be free. I think Royal is killing the goose that feeds it.

    Princess's balcony cabins are smaller, have no chair or sofa, except the uncomfortable desk chair, and have shower curtains, which went out with the DoDo bird on any other cruise company.

    You'll never get an answer from her, just one of her underlings, and i doubt they care after the fact. Whatever the problem was, should have been handled on board. If not by guest services, then the hotel director.
