With our upcoming cruise we are flying out from Bristol which normally has an additional charge of £50pp (which was not applicable when we booked) and additional OBC. The price a few weeks later was more with less OBC and the additional fee for flying from a regional airport! It's swings and roundabouts, but we struck it lucky this time😄

Mine have shrunk too and I sail next week!

Looking at the menus posted I would be happy with them as there is a fair amount of choice. On previous occasions I've had diffiuclty finding something, you can get fed up of steak every night! Hopefully we will have similar menus on Azura.

We board Azura next week for 14 nights and have £880 to spend.OH is worrying how we are going to spend it🙄 It is also my birthday while on board so hopefully will I find something nice.

Good Morning, Cold at 0c and only expected to get up to 2c. I have some errands to do but need to wait in for a phone call, to update my travel insurance, so don't dare go out! Although with the current temps it's probably better to be indoors in the warm. Hope you all have a good day.

An update, I had phone call but the person who rang can't give me the results. She is now going to e-mail the relevant departtment and get them to call me! So back to the waiting game!

What a horrible thing to have happen. Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

I tried ringing my consultant to get my MRI results. Rang the number I had for his secretary, she's not in today and gave another number to ring. Rang that number and they're away 'til the 15th. Rang the main neurosurgery number, and after several more phone calls finally got through to speak to someone and am now waiting for her to e-mail the oncology department, as they carried out the treatment, for someone to ring me. Talk about going round the houses. 😵 So I am now waiting for a phone call!

It looks like it's going to be a nice sunny day, again😲 down here, although very cold at 1c with a feel of -9c. A big contrast to last week when we had temps of 13c. Need to make several phone calls today and get on with my sewing, but other than that nothing planned.

We call at Funchal twice in our upcoming cruise, and have been looking at tours, so was interesting to read your account of the trip you took. Thank you. We saw Neil Lockwood when on Arvia last year and he was good, well worth going to see.

I am sure you will enjoy it and a great way to celebrate. I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday on a Caribbean cruise but spent it recovering from major surgery instead.

Morning everyone, how are you all? A nice bright sunny day, but cold 3c and a frost on the cars. A complete contrast of the last couple of days where it's been above the average for this time of year, about 13c, to below average. Shouldn't complain as it makes a nice change to see the sun after all the wet and windy weather that we've had. Planning on having a day sewing today but other than that have nothing else planned, apart from cooking dinner later and staying in, in the warm. Have a good Sunday.

We (an extended family of 7) were on Birtannia in September and had a really enjoyable cruise, no problems at all.

Hope everyone is well or on the road to recovery. Colder of late down here, but a least it's dry and the sun is trying to come out, after what seems to have been months of wet and windy weather. It's been very mild despite the rain and the daffodils in our garden up coming up and some are in bloom on the roadsides. Took Christmas decoration down yesterday afternoon, so now just need to get them back up into the loft. Expecting a parcel of material to be delivered today. I decided to make some dresses to take on my cruise in two weeks, as I don't expect the ones I have will fit. Am I mad? Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all, A very wet day down here with torrential rain and colder than of late. Avril, good to hear that Frank is on the road to recovery and his problem has been diagnosed, so treatment can begin. The worst thing is not knowing. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before he is home again. Remember to look after yourself and take care. My day has go off to a good start. I've won £30 on last night's lottery, with a free ticket and bookings have opened up for dining on Azura, so have booked Epicurean for my birthday. Hope you all have a good day.

I would go, get away from this awful weather and enjoy the sunshine. Hope you have a lovely time. We are joining Azura on the 19th for 2 weeks so will overlap with you by a day.

We are due to join Azura on the 19th and yesterday received an e-mail telling me it was not too late to bid for an upgrade, although we too have "no upgrade" on our booking. Although (unless their are some very recent cancellations) my friend booked the last available cabin a few weeks ago.

If you are on board for 2 weeks we will overlap by a day as we board Azura on th 19th. Have a good cruise.
