  1. I will add that I have spent money in the shops, spa, casino & specialty restaurants, but much less recently. My cabin mate is very good at entering draws and lucky at bingo, so we’ve ended up with a few excellent freebies.
  2. IMO- Princess does not follow through very well anymore. You need to speak to the staff in the dining rooms each day. you are probably making the right decision, however on my last HAL- cruise, I and a few others could not eat much of the meals in the dining room- poor quality food and few vegetables.
  3. Extras: bingo casino shops gelato spa excursions photos medallion shipping Included: pick up medallion at pier slice pizza, burgers, tacos, soft serve ice cream, popcorn most shows, music, movies, etc water, tea, lemonade pastries, fruit at International Cafe, buffet
  4. I stopped purchasing the plus packages after two tries. I am standard fare: As elite I pay 1/2 price for wifi. I order 12 pack of small bottle water to have in my cabin. I am allowed to bring on 12 cans of soda per person. i pre pay the daily pp gratuities. No need to eat at Speciality restaurants. i tried OceanNow delivery $14.99 to have drinks, room service delivery once, but will not anymore. We get up and go get our own. So you can cut out quite a bit. i like Celebrity but refuse to pay more for a refundable deposit.
  5. The call was not a CVP. I think it was Promotions as voicemail mentioned my booking.
  6. You do not have to deal with them at all. you can use your own travel agent or book online yourself and call Princess if need be. The CVP that kept calling and emailing me had access to my bookings and was so annoying & not straight forward over an issue, that I contacted Customer Relations to block her. some on here have had a great experience with their CVP.
  7. What did they say about “ new, round trip New York sailings,” they mention on here?
  8. This thread mentions promotion and there are a few other threads in this topic.
  9. There is another current thread in this topic . Do a search
  10. Thread already- interesting…
  11. Seems to be a lot of these promos calls lately.
  12. I don’t use a CVP, but had one calling me frequently. I contacted Customer Relations and asked that she stop it. They sent my request to the CVP management who contacted me & I blocked her calls & email. If you continue to be bothered you might try this.
  13. Also, the last call I got showed Santa Clarita on my phone but voicemail asked me to reply to Princess London UK.
  14. Only got one call last week and one email to upgrade drinks his week. An improvement!
  15. No it did not end for me. I recently dealt with this issue. No, not all calls are coming from CVP.
  16. I have gotten numerous calls to upgrade packages. I unsubscribed for promos and also informed customer relations to have a PVP stop contacting me.
  17. I avoid serve yourself places, as I have seen much worse.
  18. Future Cruise Deposits cost $100 US and can be used to book a future cruise in place of a larger deposit. They also come with some On-board Credit. Must be purchased on board. Beware of a recent glitch for Canadians. We pay $100 US which our credit card converts to $135 CAD. But On my last cruise I was charged $100 CAD. yep—- they are after me again for their incompetence!
  19. I won’t deal with them on board a ship anymore. Very poor customer service, rude attitudes, misinformation given, and many errors made to my bookings on Regal in February.
  20. I repeat this: I never judge what others decide.
  21. I did that. Told me an error in website. Sorry.
  22. Isn’t it nice that we have a choice.? I never judge what others decide.
  23. When I cruise in a suite, I pay the automatic gratuity and that is it. Service, above and beyond will see me giving a $20 bill to the individual, but I have not yet experienced that.
