    And some of the ice creams in the MDR have been divine, one cruise 1st night the6 had Macadamia ice cream, asked second night “sorry sir I think it is all gone” after I got my desert he bought out a small bowl of Macadamia, next night “Ice cream man, make small batch today” it wasn’t on the menu again, but I got it every night”.

    I always have the soft drink package, maybe that’s why, but Mrs G doesn’t and she got them free too. Maybe it was just my good looks and sparkling personality.

    $2.50 for a milkshake? Our last few Princess cruises they were free, drank way too many on our round Aus cruise.

    Unfortunately nothing “lately” about it, and there are a couple of posters who seem to follow each other around and pile on as a team.

    I’m not in the 320 range, but am still a big boy, have seen people who would be way over 320 on tenders no worries, height is more of an issue over about 6’4 and there is a lot of head ducking required.

    They haven’t said never, but did make me cancel one later this year. Still booked for 2024 and crossing my fingers, but ……

    I wish they did more of those. But probably a bit late for us.

    For now, I remember when calling them Queer was wrong now it’s part of LGB etc etc etc.

    We do Sydney to Tas most years, it is a great option, though some versions run slightly over 7 nights, I think the shortest we did was 5, early 2024 is 12 it depends on what other Ports are in the mix

    We once got CC for $1 pp pd less than a balcony, so that cruise definitely worth it, but at other price differences maybe not.

    Met her dad a couple of times, a looooooong time ago, saw her in concert a5 Newcastle’s Civic Theatre not as long ago, but must b3 nearly 50 years

    Mrs Gut swears by green apples and ginger in pretty much any form, but prefers ginger tea. And if the singers were allowed sit on stools on stage that wasn’t rough.

    Yep I usually opt for Doyle’s at the pub.

    So sad, saw her in concert in the 70s met her in the 90s very lovely lady.

    Yes I agree totally, but without Doyle’s I think Manly is better than Watsons Bay and without our emotional connection I’m not sure that Doyle’s is still THE premier seafood place, still a great spot and while I was never a frequent visitor to the city it still moves me.
