Went into Schooner a few times but didn’t spot you! Hope you had a good cruise.

You meet on ship at 7:30 It is a short drive to Livorno train station You wait on station platform for 50 mins until train at 9:15 ( although there is earlier one at 8:46) You get to Florence at 10:35 The meeting point is between McDonalds and the pharmacy at the station. Meeting time for return is 2:30 Return train is 3:00 Back on ship by 5:00

I always thought “half and half” was half milk/half skimmed milk… until I tried it.🤢 Perhaps with more and more international guests they have found there is little requirement for this. No other nation puts cream in coffee ... Think of all those unnecessary additional calories. 🤷‍♀️

Can drink what ever they want to, ( not just wine or beer) on a sailing departing anywhere in the world …apart from the USA…🤷‍♀️

The Caesar salad on Enchantment was limp and soggy too. At least it’s consistent fleet wide!

They had mango chutney in the WJ but not in the dining room… next time I’m going via the WJ to get a little bowl!

The planning of the menus is not consistent… there is Mediterranean night where 2 of the courses have capers in .. and if you don’t like capers 🤢 that limits the menu even further. The curries are generally good but they must learn to serve mango chutney with curries…

No beach towel: there is a toiletry bag or a tote bag. They do sell very nice beach towels in the shop $29.99 - striped cotton ones ( not towel ones) that I have not seen before. Very good size too 36x70”

Please leave Allure alone… they don’t all have to be cookie cutters of each other.., it’s nice to know there is one where there is a proper champagne bar and an uninterrupted view of the aft.

I’m on board now so I asked the LA ( who was wearing a 25 yrs polo shirt 👕) about the “ celebrations”. They said that landside staff will board a ship with the goodies - don’t know when they will turn up or which ship they drop in on. They will have enough goodies ( aka hats) for the c&a guests on board that specific sailing …. So if you don’t happen to coincide with one of these visitation sailings you miss out.

No he said it would be a media / travel partner event… 2n around the Isle of Wight! I went on a 2n NCL from Southampton in January once and the weather was superb!

Unless she swings past in early January - I doubt whether Mr B will be keeping his promise…
