RCI are having to use the cargo terminal hence no checkin facility. Yes there is a proper terminal but looks like Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity are in the parking spots today!

Can anyone BOARDING today please share their boarding info from RCI? Did you have to go to checkin at Venice or could you make your own way to Trieste?

I have always paid for one beforehand on the planner, then told them on board 2 will be dining using my BOGO. As said beforehand, there are no tables for one. However, if they would make a fuss I would tell them to cancel the reservation and forget it. They never have. A zero bill presented at the end of the meal.

I fail to see the Brit's obsession with Indie! Especially after her modernisation. I also like the idea of Odyssey with something smaller - personally I am a Radiance class fan and that would be ideal for Norway. Fondly remembering Brilliance and Jewel who did those itineraries from Harwich!

There are no trains showing on the Venice/Ravenna or Ferrara/Ravenna or Bologna/Ravenna line until Friday 26th. Of course 26th is a strike day in Italy so I wouldn’t expect trains until Saturday 27th providing they have the tracks repaired and cleared.

We are sailing from Ravenna on 29th so following closely. We also have the Italian strike on 26th to contend with, which makes even getting from VCE to our hotel a challenge!

Poor RCI logistics… all food/drink etc scheduled to meet ship at Ravenna now also has to get round to Trieste.

No. You need to get to Venice cruise terminal and they will transfer you to Trieste.

Agree. When it’s pouring the whole of CP and Boardwalk are unusable, forcing people inside. Oasis class is not a good fit for Southampton.

Why not eat dinner at leisure, instead of bolting it down, and go to the later show.. or skip the show altogether?! They are usually pretty weak. Apart from any Jersey Boys tribute… I wouldn’t miss that!!! We had no issues with 7:30/45 MTD time in recent 15n cruise. We were always seated within minutes. For some reason they always want to seat us in the same area… but we aren’t fussed where we sit!

Hey @Mick B … I had to laugh when we got the RCI email yesterday which clearly mentions the shuttle from Tronchetto … Pre-Cruise Shuttles: Shuttle services will be available from locations in the area including Venice Marco Polo Airport and Venice City Centre (Tronchetto). Guests may select their preferred transfer based on their flights and selected check-in time for boarding the ship. And I too have just received the same email from Cust Serv as you ^^ saying only from Airports!! “Please be aware that there are transfers available from the Bologna Airport, the Venice Airport and to the Barcelona Airport or the Barcelona Train Station.” I feel sorry for those who are going to turn up at Tronchetto expecting a bus! I wonder how many will miss the ship? We have a shared van booked at €75pp. Let’s hope the floods subside first…!! Yes I’ll look out for you on board, usually do the quizzes too…. We will need that drink! Mines an aperol! NOTE: This issue with transfers only seems to affect the Enchantment sailings… the regular Explorer rotation seems to have shuttles to all the required places!
