  1. Thanks. The Kea gave it away. It looked familiar then a little research filled in the rest. I was there a couple of months before the big quake. We stopped along the Arthur's pass road and a kea took a liking to our car's valve caps when we wouldn't share our lunch with it. Queenstown is a beautiful place and would love to go back there sometime. Now, to find another photo.
  2. Is that a Kea? Perhaps New Zealand somewhere?
  3. That would be SOPH. POSH would work from UK/Europe-USA return.
  4. Not so. I've been bushed in Sydney. Oh, and in Canberra too.🙄
  5. You're good to go. https://transportnsw.info/travel-info/using-public-transport/travelling-with-bikes-surfboards
  6. You are correct Lyle. When I look back at the photos I am still amazed by the height we were at. Your turn.
  7. Hand sanitiser if ineffective against Norovirus. It's the mechanical action of handwashing that is effective. As arxcards alluded. Wishy washy. Chlorine kills noro. There is no chlorine in hand sanitiser. However, sanitiser is effective for COVID control. On a group tour in Mexico many were using hand sanitiser and still coming down with Montezuma's revenge (noro). My wife and I did the wishy washy and we were fine.
  8. I've been up to London to visit the Queen, But she wasn't in.
  9. Rainbow Park, Victoria. Named after Canada's first naval ship HMCS Rainbow?
  10. Is that near the brew pub where we had lunch?
  11. Johnny O'Keefe aka JOK or The Wild one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_O'Keefe
  12. I was never a JOK fan. I was a child of the surfing movement of the early 60s. The first LP I bought was Bombora by The Atlantics. Then came The Beatles and the rest is history. I do have one JOK record in my collection, a 10" LP "Johnny's Golden Album". Wild One is one of the tracks.
  13. I remember the old Newcastle Stadium. It housed the events you mentioned however it used to be where Marketown is now. I only went there a couple of times for ice skating. JOK performed at the stadium. https://hunterlivinghistories.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/1957-10-02-LittleRichard-RJordan.pdf
  14. I may have to revisit it for next season now that I have a smarter than me TV.
  15. I think you can subscribe to the MotoGP website for live broadcast viewable on internet connection. When MotoGP went off free to air a few years ago, I had a look at the MotoGP website so my memory is a little hazy. Can't be many races left this season. I have never seen MotoGP on a cruise.
  16. Cloudy days can also have high UV. I've had many skin cancers surgically removed but you'll still find me out on the water most every weekend and days in between. I wear a UPF rashie shirt (wet suit in winter), hat (under my helmet) SPF50 on exposed skin.
