  1. It depends on how you approach the vacation. If you want to be on the go and see/do everything, then it'd be more stressful than it's worth. If you can just relax, enjoy the down time and the break away from the real world, and manage to fit in a few things you want to as your child allows, then most certainly, it's enjoyable.
  2. The only time I had a similar issue is when I booked a cruise with FCC. Sometime between booking and shortly before final payment something got messed up and I owed more money than I should have. It was quickly fixed though.
  3. Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? Recent reviews seem to be night and day mixed.
  4. Since Serenade's lounge has a dedicated bar, you can probably squeeze in a full drink before you take one to dinner.
  5. Having a bar right there in the lounge is great. So the good thing is you get faster service. The bad thing, post covid, is you're more limited on what you can order.
  6. Go to the suite lounge, get a drink for dinner, go to dinner, go back to the lounge for the 2nd half of the happy hour.
  7. I wonder how many had anything more than mild symptoms? That ship in Australia that had 800 test positive had no one with more than mild symptoms and most were asymptomatic. Covid still exists, obviously, but massive overreactions should be long gone by now.
  8. What percentage of cruisers fit into that category? 1%? Seems like more of a new "look at us we're doing something" protocol. I have seen no such reports.
  9. Southwest, much like RC, operates on old technology because upgrading costs money and right now they have no issue filling flights so why invest such capital?
  10. Labadee has an entire area for suite guests.
  11. POS systems aren't simple when you have many dozen things that can be ordered. Plus many variations to how an individual thing can be ordered. Plus many ways they can be ordered (a la carte, vouchers, beverage packages, etc). RC POS systems aren't done in house. It's a 3rd party https://www.agilysys.com/en/solutions/by-industry/cruise-lines/
  12. "Only" $10 for 3 bags? $10 is quite good.
  13. There could just be a traffic problem with the construction so on days more ships are in port it's harder to find a spot for the Voyager-sized ship.
  14. I believe that's ramping up now. That could be why they have to scale down larger ship operations.
  15. Color can help expedite sorting, but in the end they the bags will get to your room with all the others.
  16. In reality, every night is casual night. Just some nights people are encouraged to dress up if they want to and these are called formal night/dress your best night. But you're under no obligation to dress up
  17. Because the original parkway went through a park. And the original driveway is the way you drive from your house to the road.
  18. I wouldn't see why not. It'd have to be properly coordinated, obviously, with your doctor and the cruise line. If you two are able to do everything and don't require a nurse, it seems more than feasible
