  1. I know someone who was not allowed to bring Holy Donuts back onboard in Portland, Maine.
  2. BTW, Niagara is bottled in Mesa, AZ. I'm sure there are plenty who see Niagara and think it comes from NY lol. Evian spelled backwards is naive 🤣
  3. LOL. We've been getting "free" water for years as we are D+, both before and after Covid. Pretty sure we've always just been given basic unknown brands. As pp said, they were just given purified.
  4. Okay, so I looked it up. 45% "purified" tap vs 55%"spring". I guarantee you Royal is not giving anyone free Spring water as it can cost 2-3x as much as purified tap water. https://www.pentair.com/en-us/water-softening-filtration/blog/where-does-bottled-water-come-from.html
  5. LOL. It's all the same. Pretty much all bottled water is just tap water.
  6. We've never had cans, but we always take a water bottle just in case so we can open the can and pour it in to the bottle so we can use it later.
  7. Pretty sure they do not automatically charge you. It happens so rarely that a cruise gets extended. But, I will say if we were, we would gladly pay it.
  8. Triggering some people is so easy. We don't feel the need to brag about what we tip.
  9. We've had several different varieties, even out of the same port.
  10. We usually tip extra, but not a huge amount. I also don't buy the posters who say they tip $100 extra. There are a few who virtue signal on this site so don't believe everything you read. It costs them nothing to say they do. 🙂
  11. Someone just posted that a crewmember had a medical emergency.
  12. Someone onboard posted on FB. They said Captain said Medical Emergency, but there are cops and no ambulances next to the ship.
  13. Really? I don't think it's been established. Is it emmy worthy tv? No, but I'd be willing to bet you watch other shows that are less than stellar. I find it interesting that because it's on Princess some had already established their feelings, probably even before it aired. You all do realize that just like the original show, Princess is using this as advertising. I don't particularly care for any reality show as none of them are really 100% real anyway, but I do love the backdrops (countries, ship, etc). Some people on CC who I didn't think were so are so rigid. TV is about leaving reality behind and relaxing for a bit. Why are people taking this so seriously?
  14. I was going to say it was your crystal block when I saw the title. We got one a couple of months ago for our April cruise. It just showed up one day and I opened it.
  15. You only have to have had the initial vaccine (1 J&J or 2 of others). No number of days since or boosters required.
  16. I kept having issues when using my Chrome account although DH's worked fine. App works. So, I used Edge and was able to get into everything.
  17. We've done b2b before and after Covid and the process hasn't changed. But, it does vary between ships and ports. Some you have to get off and walk through the port by CBP (we've done that both before and after Covid). Some you walk right back on, some you don't and you have to wait a bit. Some you don't have to get off (not our experience on any of ours). We've had a b2b lunch on all of ours. Once in Giovannis (Oasis), once in the Solarium Bistro (Harmony) and once in the MDR (EN). You won't know til you actually do it. We're on a b2b on Jewel in 30 days so we'll see how they handle it.
  18. We have an assortment of bills. $1 for our D+ drinks. $5 and $10 for tours. Larger bills for tips at the end of the cruise for stewards, waiters and the casino lol. As for the $2 bills, what I've heard from several people is the ports don't always accept them as they don't recognize them. There really aren't that many in circulation. I have one that I got when they first came out. Cash registers aren't made with an extra space for them.
  19. Today is 30 days out for us and our docs and luggage tags were available this morning. We're on Jewel 6 and 13 Nov. I don't print the docs but I do save a pdf. I already printed our boarding passes so we're set.
  20. Captain is most definitely a real cruise ship Captain. https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/the-real-love-boat-rebecca-romijn-jerry-oconnor-ted-lange-jill-whelan-1235394123/ Ezra is currently a Princess employee.
  21. @A&L_Ont quick question since you cruised out of T5. Is there a separate entrance line for suites? We've been out of T1 multiple times but never out of T5 and we'll be on Jewel on 6 Nov. Thanks!
  22. It wasn't meant to be anything like the sitcom.
  23. Love that movie but I also really respect the Pena-Vega's as a family.
