  1. I might wonder if the VIFP rate will be cancelled if not occupied by the VIFP. Or if two minors will be allowed to occupy a cabin by themselves.
  2. Just seems odd to me. Carnival has known for some time that Glory was repositioning from New Orleans to Port Canaveral so was going to do a non-rev cruise anyway. And they would have known about the hull inspection.
  3. I like them. Not the best I've ever had, but good enough. A couple of variations How I like them
  4. Then I suspect demolition work will begin on the last cruise. Even with the Pride, Carnival did a revenue crossing. Perhaps the $100 casino cabins aren't paying off?
  5. As if no other cruise line does the same.
  6. Except Carnival's schedule says dry dock beginning 3/24 and it clearly won't be in dry dock then. Not even wet dock. Most Carnival dry docks seem to be a minimum of 14 days. I know they could do a non-revenue crossing, but why? I still think there is more here than has been released. At a minimum, I think a cruise or two might be cancelled. Apparently it takes no time for the 3/24 dry dock.
  7. Glory has a dry dock scheduled Dry Dock: 3/24/24-4/17/24 A transatlantic Apr 18, 2024 - May 2, 2024 Carnival is still selling a Glory cruise RT New Orleans 3/17-3/24 Does not compute.
  8. If you use a travel agent, why is it on Carnival?
  9. All you have to do is check with shore excursions the day before to see how many are left, if any, and if there was a price reduction once on the ship. We look forward to your report. 😉
  10. Well you can just take the water in the cabin and the drink is already loaded on your Sail and Sign card so 2/3 are already taken care of and since you don't seem to care about the pins? But the steward would still have to collect the pins and keep track of who gets one, etc. And as long as they are doing that, they might as well dump off 10 pounds of Diamonds International papers at the same time.
  11. There really isn't a catch. Carnival doesn't make money off of cabins, they make it off of onboard spend. Another cruise line might choose to collect upfront before you get on the ship. A business has to make money somewhere.
  12. And the price of a Holland cruise compared to Carnival?
  13. Next time use cash which is just as good as money.
  14. Did you see something about a BOGO slot tournament? Those haven't been held since cruising restarted and that us where the $25 comes from.
  15. Try calling the groups department at Carnival
  16. Longer cruises yes, but that includes older ships. Bigger ships might have more Diamonds, but bigger ships have more of everyone else, too.
  17. Lots of dem and at Port Canaveral Cruise Ships Sailing at 110 Percent Occupancy from Port Canaveral https://cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/2023/04/cruise-ships-sailing-at-110-percent-occupancy-from-port-canaveral/
  18. A sneaky way to count the number of guests in a villa.
