  1. Senior CD and there were a number of those. Like Senior MDs. Being a CD is a younger person's job and they get burned out fast.
  2. Have you ever made money off of the casino?
  3. In my experience more of over zealous screeners and carry on, but there are idiots everywhere.
  4. Is anyone truly bullish on any stock right now? A fool and their money.
  5. Those are certainly two. Mobile confiscated all scissors and a power strip having an on-off switch even though they admitted it didn't have surge protection. I did get them to hold all items until after the cruise, and had backups for everything. I have head of other ports with random seizures.
  6. They don't think much of those who don't tip. either.
  7. Not a good plan: " The seaweed also contains arsenic in its flesh, making it dangerous if ingested or used for fertilizer. "
  8. Bullish is a word I think might apply to you more than me.
  9. It seems you may still be here https://boards.cruisecritic.com/profile/190387-lkygsr/
  10. Carnival will be around long after I'm gone. I'm going to ride that ship to the end, but not more than 100 shares at a time.

  12. I know they jacked prices. $50+ is about right. On the last sailing of Ecstasy I picked up a few for maybe $15+/- each? They weren't going to let the scrapper have those pieces of plastic.
  13. Did you book a casino or other offer? Many default to TBA cabins unless you tell it otherwise. You should be outside of final payment and able to switch since you are willing to pay more. What sailing? I see all kinds of balconies.
  14. It goes without saying that anyone who takes stock advice from a cruise board deserve to lose. YMMV.
  15. Either way, I have already received my original investment back so have lost nothing.
  16. In moderation. This blob is something else. Fact.
  17. Do the signs list the exceptions? Not the last few I've seen. Monkey see... 🐵
  18. Heinbloed may still be a CC member and you might see if he is still posting or take a gander through his blogs heinbloed-cruiseblogs.blogspot.com/2008/08/heinbloed-cruise-blogs.html
  19. or you could invest in crypto or been invested in one of the banks that have failed recently. I'll receive at least $850 in shareholder OBC this year, and my stock long ago paid for itself. Carnival Corp isn't going to disappear. Carnival has more cash on hand than RCL and NCL combined. They are masters at financing. At least Carnival had the vision to arrange for a new revolving credit facility before the latest banking crisis. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/carnival-corporation--plc-announces-arrangement-of-new-forward-starting-2-1-billion-revolving-credit-facility-301759157.html
  20. Pretty much everything is at the ship's discretion. Once I had a cabin steward that didn't say anything about dropping off luggage early. I later went to retrieve something and found the door shut and locked and no sail and sign card. Yes, I had early access, no I didn't get early key. He didn't put the cards up until he had finished with all cabins. 🤣
  21. Corkage fee may or may not be charged, but it certainly could be. It is not unusual for people to bring a glass of wine to dinner.
