  3. @Caribensunyes the elite wine tasting is offered. I didn’t go. These are new menus just printed. So far all bartenders I’ve asked have handed them over no issue. in no particular order. Better photos of last nights menu, our food, the patter for today. The new Princess favorite dessert Lychee, raspberry & rose mouse was a huge hit as was the warm berry cobbler. The cheesecake and carrot cake recipes must have changed as they were dry and not very good at all. The smoked pork was a huge hit, as was the seafood bowl(no photo) and the prime rib was very good. The pasta with shrimp was prepared in CC and was excellent. I’ll try to snap a few snappy of the bout and today for whoever asked.
  4. @wowzzmy friend said the lamb was excellent and he ate every last bite. @partybarbie Funch is in the house!!!! In no particular order Heres tonight’s menu, patters, juice bar and its price list, Lailen serving up Scooby Doo shots at Bellinis , officer board, Alfredo’s menu & our pizzas, Bellinis specialty menu and a photo of the red plus wines they have at the moment. Plus wines can and will change from day to day and sailing to sailing so keep that in mind. There’s a reason they do not list the vintage or winery. Also find photos of the brand new printed bar menus. Lailen at Bellinis said this is what all the bars are now using.
  5. Last nights dinner menus. I only have good pictures of the lamb. All the other entrees were half eaten by the time I took pics. Also please don’t quote posts with these multiple photos as it takes forever to load the thread on ship’s wifi.
  6. Last night in Crown my cabin mate and I ordered the grgich hills merlot and the Belle Glos Pinot (both excellent). Each cost $19 and we have plus ($50 version) We should have been charged $4 plus tip. But we were not. I asked the server and he showed me his hand held thingy they tap you in with. It clearly showed we had plus and clearly said all wines up $20 were included. Obviously a glitch that will get sorted out very soon. If you look at the bottom of the Vines menu I posted yesterday you will see it says Plus is up to $12 and Premier is up to $18. I showed Ali and he said oops a typo. These are brand new menus just printed and rolled out yesterday. Bottom line is if you have plus, regardless of what you paid for it, you get drinks up to $15. For a short time only it seems we are getting more expensive wines included by a glitch in the system. I’ll be sure to tell guest services on debarkation day. Lol And in my experiences so far the plus White & Rose wines that are included (meaning $15 or less) are not to my liking. Everyone can look at the photos I’ve posted and decide for themselves. We all have different palettes. No right or wrong
  7. Newly printed MDR wine menu. if someone would be so kind as to reference this live from to the earlier thread about the package changes that would be appreciated. It’s just easiest for me to post here.
  8. Full sailings are when Club Class really pays off. We got straight in to CC for lunch today, had the chicken Korma with 7 different toppings yum, yum, yum. I was able to prebook my free embarkation day specialty dining in Crown for 6:20. But when I went to the concierge to try and get a 4 top I could not do so unless I moved to 5:30 or 8 pm. Crown was packed. I finally ordered the Chilean sea bass that my dear friend @CruiseRaiderhas been extolling the virtues of for years. And omg it was every bit as good as I was expecting. Even exceeded my expectations. I do take food pics so here you go. I have photos of the complete new MDR wine menu. I’ll post soon.
  9. Retreat bar plus wines in stock. Casio said the paper menu is the same as outrigger. They said new Premier wines are still being unpacked so I’ll go back tomorrow and see if they in stock.

  11. I just asked at guest services and both people in the cabin have to upgrade. And it is prorated so no charge for first day if you upgrade today. You can only upgrade on day 1 and 2.
  12. Then when I talked to @cruiseraider this morning I tried again. This morning I’m getting the same options they are to upgrade. Here’s what I see this morning.
  13. When I tried to see if I could upgrade to Premier on the ap yesterday I was not able to. This is a screen shot from last night just before retiring.
  14. I’ll try to post the Crown Grill & Vines wine and cocktail menu I took pictures of tonight. Our waiter in club class at lunch said there was a brand new MDR wine menu being printed. I’ll get pics tomorrow and try to post.
  15. I’ve been bringing my aeropress, ceramic mug and my preferred ground coffee. I use the breakfast hanging door card to order a large carafe of extra hot water and a glass of milk to be delivered in the morning. I make my Americano and it’s been working out great.
  16. I’ve been on 6 Princess cruises since May 2017 that included Glacier Bay, 5 in very early May and one in August. In all cases we did get into the bay. The weather varied in May from t-shirts to wearing every item of clothing I brought (lol). We always saw the faces of the glaciers. I much prefer May to September. I love the snow and ice when my warm cabin is right there.
  17. Are you referring to the elite perk of having afternoon tea served in your cabin? If so, I will be in a full suite so it may be hard to separate my elite perk from suite perk as many of the newer crew I’ve encountered in the past 6 months have had very limited English. However I have friends sailing in balconies who are elite so I can ask them to call down for it and see what happens.
  18. It’s been my experience that while the updates don’t seem to matter when off ship, once on board you really need the newest version for it to work (sometimes at all!) One thing I noticed is there’s a Payments and Prizes tab under Ocean Ready. Your Journey Account (portfolio) has been moved there and it seems you can check if you’ve won prizes.
  19. I’m boarding the Royal Saturday. I’ll take lots of photos and will try to post a bit. I’m with a bunch of friends and will give more complete info when I get home if I didn’t get a chance onboard. It’s only 5 days (hardly worth packing for lol)
  20. My 2023 Thanksgiving cruise was finally upgraded to Premier on this promotion. There is a list of cruises and it is not all cruises. My CVP gave me the included dates sailing out of SF as those were the only ones I was interested in. I don’t have that list any more. I chose the SF Thanksgiving cruise because it was on his list and worked out with DH work schedule. My CVP said there was some setting on DH account he had to get updated (DH has been automatically getting the military OBC for years so it wasn’t that).
  21. Less than two weeks ago I found my April 29th Alaska sailing had dropped by $400 but I got the error message when I tried to put a hold on it. I saved screen shots showing the ship, dates and destinations along with price. I sent these to my CVP and he credited my booking within 24 hours. I was beyond final payment date and had already paid in full too.
  22. We just got off the Diamond this morning and they had both pellegrino and Perrier the whole seven days.
  23. Yes, your dining room will be the Club Class portion of the MDR. Sabatini’s is simply the best breakfast on the ship.
  24. This is not Princesses policy on their beverage packages. No you will not be charged gratuities if you have any beverage package on Princess.
