Right now I am asking on the cruise air board if American Airlines refunds fees and taxes to your credit card if you cancel a flight. You see I have points that I could book with but only if I can get the heavy fees refunded in case my HAL fare is a go ahead. I can book hotels with points and those would be cancellable.

Yes that is but nothing about the fees and taxes. I know some airlines will only issue a flight credit for fees and taxes. These particular fees and taxes are quite high and I want to know if I can have them credited back to my card

I am surprised you received an email now. September is a long way off. I have two cruises prior to then and have received no notices

While in the Caribbean my own cell coverage has always been available plus there are many cafes or better yet hotels that offer internet. That was one of the better things I learned here is booking a hotel resort day pass in the Caribbean. My brother in law is a professional videographer and using hotel services has been his best advice.

I am doing a similar itinerary to yours but continue on 10 days past HAL. Laundry is on the top of my agenda once I get to the ship. Be sure to check with your steward for the last day you can send out laundry. They have a laundry bag that holds quite a bit for $20
