  3. I had a similar problem and it is a glitch. I had two items in my cart, one that could be paid by gift card and one that was disallowed. It led me to checkout and let me select gift card as a payment option then asked for credit card. That can’t be done in their system. In my case I separated the two items into two transactions and had success.
  4. Do you see the problem now? Why would they give you an AARP benefit in 2025 when you have not paid for a 2025 membership.

  6. Yes, they do expect you to renew every year. It is in the terms and conditions of the promotion. Mark your calendar.
  7. And always, always take a screenshot. I have heard they are supposed to send a confirming email for flights but I have never received one.
  8. I have sworn off grands anyway until HAL brings back a good enrichment package. They used to be worth the extra per diem but not in the current climate of cost cutting and homogeneity of programs.
  9. It is only select cruises. I looked at a few of interest, not grands, and they were not included. If you first click the promotional button then filter you get only included cruises . I don’t recall if grands were included or not
  10. Yes. Rarely they will still be cleaning but they will at least allow the drop off
  11. This is us too. It is hard for some to understand that some of us simply don’t need or even want the extras.
  12. Yes, simply go to the office onboard and pay you bill prior to departing the ship or alternatively change the card as you board or at any time during the cruise
  13. Be sure to check your profile to be sure everything is set up correctly. I use one email for promotions and a more secure one for bookings and personal info. others have reported the same delay I am glad you had a nice time
  14. Right. Select change, have a look around and I simply close the browser if nothing appeals
  15. If you book it separately the flight ease website will kick you out and you will have to call to have it reestablished. It is just a quirk of the system. If you want to change later it is simple to rebook only one leg though you may have changed pricing. If this were to occur call FE and tell them what you want to change and they can accommodate without a price change on the kept portion. once you book go to the KLM Website, get a membership number and return it to add. That way you will be linked
  16. Alternatively you can establish a KLM membership to manage flights. I really like KLM but have only used them in Europe. They don’t fly from my location, I wish they did.

  19. The thread perhaps assumes that we don’t know what we want. I first draw a list of the things I value - itinerary, hours in port, cleanliness, safety, security and graciousness, ambiance then I start looking at price. DH often says it “costs what it costs, just buy what we want” I drink very little so I don’t want to pay for that, I live in a large city and frequently travel to other large cities and have access to fine dining and excellent entertainment venues and don’t really expect that quality on a cruise. And finally I don’t want to be on a crowded, large noisy ship. It is not about the money spent. my ultimate question is where are you going and for how long? I agree about methods of booking but similarly what I value in an agent isn’t driven by the dollar, it is driven by the service and expertise
