  1. Use the USPS link they included in the email. Then sign up for their automated tracking messaging service. I went back and double-checked, I got the initial email last Saturday and received it yesterday, so 6 days. Figure about a week to Florida.

  9. If they make the transition from the current app to the new one fairly seamless then I'm OK with trying it. Although I've had a few glitches with it (right now it's not showing I have the Premier package), I'm in the Green Lane for embarkation and I may wait until I'm aboard ship before I try to switch.

  11. That's a good question, but I believe you'll be good with the medallions you received. They are essentially RFID tags loaded with a specific, unique ID number (possibly your 10-digit member number) that identifies you. I'm guessing that just prior to the embarkation day that all the reservation data for all the guests are uploaded to the ship's computer server. When you go near a reader on the ship it will use your number to access your file, which will have all your info including your cabin assignment.
  12. We also booked the Premier package for our trip next month, and it has also disappeared from the app. But it DOES show that we purchased it when I log into the website and look at our booking. I already had everything booked (premium dining, excursions, etc.) which all shows on our travel summary, so I'll simply print it out and bring with me. As for the "new" app, if I can download and check it out without blowing away the current one I will do so, but I don't want to have to re-load everything again (passport, photos, payment info, etc.) so we'll see...
  13. So like ProgRockCruiser said, you say it doesn't matter whether they're sober, drunk or high. Abusers are gonna abuse no matter what. Again, as PRC said, correlation not causation. You say that your work experience tells you that weed turns a docile, friendly person into a violent, stoner sociopath? Me thinks that they were already that way, and they (or their abused partners) wanted to blame the cannabis.

  15. That's interesting that they sent them all the way to a suburb of Chicago then all the way back to California, then to Arizona. Seems a bit roundabout. We're near Indianapolis, so I figure it will be very soon...
  16. I received notification Sunday that our medallions are also coming through Bensenville, same shipping partner also. Did you get yours yet Azbirdmom?
  17. We're booked through Princess at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach, all set up by our travel agent. $125/PP including all 3 transfers. I didn't think that was too bad, probably could have saved a little setting it up myself and using Uber but who cares, it's vacation!
  18. For our very first Princess voyage on the Caribbean Princess we decided to try their 2 specialty restaurants, Sabatini's & Crown Grill. This is the first time we've tried doing a specialty restaurant instead of the MDR. Interested in hearing from those who have recently cruised and eaten at either place - what was your favorite dish?
  19. When I booked our excursions for our upcoming trip it automatically applied our OBC and then I paid the balance on my CC, which is what I wanted anyway.
  20. Alyssamma, thank you for the posting, it makes me look forward even more to our upcoming first-time cruise on Princess. Negative comments always tend to dominate these forums so it's nice to read about a positive experience.
  21. I just checked this morning, the app doesn't show that we have a package, we do have the Premier and it had been showing up until now. But the cruise personalizer still shows that we have it. Just chalk it up to this wonky, glitchy app. We'll just make sure to print copies of our cruise summary and have it with us when we board.
  22. Nope, I plan to get full use out of the OceanNow service. I plan to spend a lot of time marinating my butt in a hot tub, while they bring me drinks.
  23. My wife recently signed us up for Disney+, so I've been binge watching it. Amazing the ingenuity and the lengths people will go to bring contraband into this country.
