We used room service & never realized that the cabin steward did the change. 🤨
Having know that I would have had him done it since just getting through to room service is a job in itself.
It does save a lot of time when re-boarding and you'll be first to board before anyone else. Just don't forget the in-transit card when leaving the ship.
What I like about watching a movie in the cabin is that most times they have closed caption available. Some movies are difficult to understand without them.
We were on the Enchanted in early Jan (Caribbean) and unless you're referring to just emails or accessing small files/web pages in the early morning it's seemed to painfully slow once everyone was awake.
When the speed dropped off to 50 Kbps it took me hours to download a 1 hour program from my provider starting at 4 AM when the speed was 1.7 to 2 Mbps. During a sea day I had a Zoom meeting at 1 PM & it disconnected so much I finally gave up.
Same here. Been there, done that.- Never again.
Unless you're travelling with the other people, why slow down the whole dinner process having to converse with strangers. There are plenty of people to talk to all day long if you choose to.
Way back around 20 years ago they had a few deals of doubling the FCC credit. It was only for a few ships & sailings.
Other than that OBC there isn't anything that I know about that would make me book onboard.
I've also heard of them offering a real good fare a few times to remain onboard when your sailing terminated, but that also hasn't happened for quite a while.
