I think there's quite a difference between dressing for an employer an what a cruise line expects on a vacation.

You must be referring to the shot glasses that they use now for juice. We usually stop at a bar on the way to breakfast & bring one each of those large glasses with us for juice.

They seem to be doing everything they can to influence all the passengers to purchase the Plus package. So far we can still avoid their expensive add on since we have our own ways of avoiding the extras without affecting our enjoyment.

We've seen it numerous times but it's still not one of our favorites. It's aimed at a younger generation.

After a search on Google it appears that milk is complementary at the buffet but if you should order it elsewhere, there is a charge. Very strange.

Wow, I never realized that there was a charge for milk, although if you Google the question, it definitely says that milk is included at no charge. Just to be sure, I'll be bringing a small bottle to fill up at the coffee station from now on and will store it in the fridge to use. 😉

You don't have to have a Wi-Fi plan to allow people to contact you on the ship. In all our years of sailing we haven't had one call. I do all my planning before I leave home. It's much easier that way.

WHAT ! What ship and when was that on? Was it from room service? Was the charge removed?

Considering what it would cost me for a European trip + the flight I could very comfortable take another cruise. We've traveled to many places over the years so now we just enjoy the ship & hardly even bother getting off the ship.

Again, your situation is totally different than ours. There's not much that I concern myself with and if something does happen, I'll take take care of it when I return.

Of course it's not for everyone, I never said it was. We don't have pets so no worry there and no kids. If anyone really wants to contact us they know they can always call, although there's not much we can do about any emergency anyway. I really think most people have convinced themselves that they absolutely need to stay in contact every minute of the day. 🙄

I think in that case you were just to easy going. You should have been more direct with a "nasty" comment right from the start as soon as you realized they were part of the group. I know they wouldn't forget me after the first encounter.

Same thing happened to us on the Enchanted in March almost daily.

You're not serious? Since when do the passengers feel the need to dress up for the crew? If that's the case, surely you would be more comfortable on Cunard than Princess, especially now that Princess is casual dress all the time.

In the last few years our cruises have been restricted to the ships in the Caribbean and we have unlimited text & voice at every port we visit so there's no searching for a Wi-Fi signal. We are never without service for more than 2 days.

I honestly don't receive any emails that can't wait a day until we reach the next port. I certainly don't care about any sports and as far as the news goes, it's all BS anyway plus if your that concerned about it there's always the TV. The only conceivable thing that people could use the Wi-Fi for is if they were working on the ship.

They might not be a necessity for you, so don't use them. We prefer to communicate at times & they do serve a purpose, even if the connection isn't the best on the ship.

I don't think I've ever seen a restriction on the length of an extension cord.

It's sometimes necessary and It is what it is. Princess hasn't banned them.

We don't deny ourselves much in life but internet to me service service is a complete waste of money. We can call and text others when we reach any of the ports for free so why should I have to on the ship? We can get the news via TV and I certainly can bring sufficient movies and games to entertain myself. I would sure like to know what people use the unlimited internet for on a vacation.

What about people talking on their phone? There's plenty of them these days since most people have a package and make full use of it. You do what you have to do, but discreetly.

The channels use to be very crowded but lately I haven't noticed anyone using them.

As long as I can take the test & not have to sit through a video or lecture. I know all the words by heart.
