Well I enjoy good music, so I don't see the problem with Frank Sinatra. Columbia Years or later? Your grandkids will talk about how they had to listen to ABBA. I heard from a friend that Celebrity is going to switch over to Taylor Swift 24/7 soon.

I work in IT and could probably figure out how to bring along a VPN. It just creates two tiers. One pax with a VPN with 40mps service. And one without with 1mps service. Both paying the same price.

I just want to know. Are ABBA and the Beatles considered modern music? I’m 57 and would say they are not. I have tinnitus so I don’t want loud music. But I don’t see that stopping any time soon.

Maybe Celebrity should remove the fitness center from their ships so people won’t feel bad.

If Celebrity played country and bluegrass, I would cruise more. I grew up the 70s but I don’t care for much of the music. I grew up in Pennsylvania but listened to country and Top 40 growing up.

I had a designer come to the house to discuss replacing our 2 story high window shades with electric smart shades. He brought fabric samples. He wanted us to try greige (gray/beige) with our 15 year old original beige walls. I said, maybe not. I liked the guy but he wanted us to electrify the lower shades. You know, the ones with a cord that I could walk up to and open? And I showed him how hard it was.

Can’t a cruise line attract different ages? People say “I want newer music!” Could someone define “newer music” for me? Because I listen to Bach, Frank Sinatra, Billy Idol and Barbra Streisand and I didn’t hear any of that on my last cruise. If I hear 70s music I’ll stab myself in the eye.

Do I *think* it's for 12 days? Yes. Do I *know* it's for 12 days? No. Every other post here is "Celebrity is ripping me off!" So I do NOT assume what prices should be. If someone is paying only $91 to upgrade to Streaming for 12 days, then they need to find the nearest Celebrity employee and say THANK YOU!!!

I am not a lawyer but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. And I took a required course in contract law in business school. I must have missed the day when we talked about how a contract is whatever you "feel" it should be.

I booked Millie based on itinerary (Bali) before I knew about the Kelly renovation. My husband won't be happy that all the storage and shelves were taken out of the Sky Suite bathrooms and cabins. I've warned him so he should be prepared. I like the colors that I see on videos but why remove so much storage?

Celebrity has pax of all ages and multiple cabin types and multiple ship categories. Of course they’re trying to be all things for all people. Good for them!

Some suite passengers certainly DO want to stop by a dedicated lounge area for light refreshments before getting on the ship. It was my first time in a Sky suite in Civitavecchia and you bet $5 of food and drinks made a positive impression on me. You can laugh at me but the boarding experience as well as the onboard experience was important in deciding to book another Sky Suite in December.

Go sail on Viking. Then you’ll thank god for Celebrity. But I agree that the new music they play on board sucks. Who thinks that Mozart and Beethoven is good music? Bach all day man! Baroque is where it’s at. Stop that classical crap.

There are always less busy times but it’s a shared resource. So others may want to use it at the same time. Most people try to be polite.
