  1. That first sentence under our cruiseHealth tool is the problem. According to some Princess management, we are supposed to go by the Tool or cruise personalizer. My travel summary only gives general information. Nothing specifically about testing. The CruiseHealth tool you can see is very general and not Updated since Dec 2nd. Guess we will just keep watching it. Same verbage on the South Pacific cruise Crown in March also.
  2. That first sentence under Testing Requirements is the problem. This is on the CruiseHealth Tool for Enchanced Voyages. Very general. Yes, we took an Enhanced Voyage in Nov/Dec and it clearly said medically assisted testing was required. So, we did Emed proctored. Easy. But, then Dec 2nd and Dec 19th the language was changed on the tool and the website. Not clear anymore. We’ve had 2 different answers from PCL management. They also differ. Crazy. Of course, if not clarified, we’ll buy emed again for proctored.
  3. Isn’t there a time limit, in which they must reply to the insured? Depending on the State, I believe.
  4. Thank you for this thread. Okay, the Q&A did say all guests are required to have a medically assisted test. They just updated it today Jan 16, 23. Now, it reads the same as the cruiseHealth tool. So, are self administered tests accepted? Every one seems to have a different answer at Princess. Unreal. It says: UPDATED: What are the testing requirements for enhanced guidelines voyages? For voyages departing from the U.S., Chile and Vancouver, all guests 5 and older must provide a medically assisted or self-administeredAntigen home test or PCR within 3 days before departure. For voyages departing, arriving or visiting Australia, all guests 2 and older must provide medically assisted or self-administered Antigen home test within 24 hours or PCR within 48 hours. Heres the CruiseHealth Tool: Testing Requirements All guests ages 5 and older are required to take a medically observed COVID-19 Test. PCR or medically observed Antigen COVID-19 test taken within 3 days prior to embarkation, or Medically observed or self-administered antigen home test taken within 3 days before embarkation.
  5. Yes, it is confusing and general information for enhanced voyages. Even Princess management has given conflicting information. Just update it. The App, the CruiseHealth Tool, the website Q&A and the cruise personalizer all are conflicting.
  6. Yes, it includes the 18% gratuities on the coffee package.
  7. Make sure to sign out of the App, periodically. Or as you did, delete and install. If you’re on the website, sign out of there too. Make sure to delete your history and cache also. They were up and down over the weekend, causes issues.
  8. Website has been up and down all day. So, I’d just try again tmrw. Just about every weekend they are updating or reprogramming and of course it affects the Princess App also.
  9. Also, check out the threads on the East Coast departures. Helpful! https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/317-east-coast-departures/
  10. So you’re on the App? If so, delete the App and install again. Whatever you do…do not reregister or link any booking. This can cause a lot of issues. If you reregistered any of the times, it asked you for information, you may have 2 or more accounts and PCL will have to straighten those out. Keeping your original account only. I did just get a technical difficulties when trying to sign in on the website. That’s usually either down or running updates, which is more so on the weekends. No issue on the App for me.
  11. Well, the deal didn’t help us, because we already had booked the next cruise as a b2b months before. Some people made out, though! 🙁
  12. Make sure to clear your history and cache. You should get that popup if you are just searching for cruises or the website. Not if you login first. Could be just a weekend usual updating of the website. I don’t get that.
  13. What if the cruise is half full? We were on a cruise back in Feb and bookings were dropping off like crazy because of the covid spread. The Captain made an announcement, if anyone wanted to extend for the next cruise, they could for 50% off what they paid. They went to GS to see if their cabin was available or to move to another cabin. Maybe they already had corporate approval? IDK. I’m sure this was a once in a lifetime event!
  14. If you’re booked on 2 separate booking numbers, then yes, it probably would be different cabins. Depends on how the UG’s are worked. If it’s programatic, then anything could happen. If it’s manually worked, it’s possible they might catch the No Upgrade. Just keep an eye on it.
  15. I think #4 is more likely. In our case, it had not been assigned to anyone on either cruise. That’s how we were able to get the cabin back for both b2b cruises. I caught it very early.
  16. Yes and make sure both are marked No upgrade. My b2b’s were marked no UG and both were changed to different cabins. I just happened to notice it on the website summary. I quickly checked both b2b’s and now were in different cabins. Called TA and he got my original, same cabin back! He was surprised not to be notified. So….now I check frequently.
  17. I guess I would want to know..when did the UG happen? They can see that in their computer. What date did the TA get advised? If they did. Just would like to know for my own information.
  18. I just called my TA with the booking number and they took care of it. Hmmm
