  1. Make sure clear cache and history. Delete App and reinstall App. See if that helps.
  2. Advising the gate agent when you arrive at the gate is a must! Also, going through the scanner using both BP’s is also a must. Seats would be accounted for. EZAir probably will just have to manually book this extraseat reservation.
  3. That’s a great question. I know the airline can book the extra seat, as they put your name as 2Amarillo/Pescado/Extraseat. Alerting extra seat booked for you. I would call EZAir and ask what their procedure would be. It would have to be up to EZAir since you’re booking through them. Do let us know.
  4. Agree. We’ve had loud neighbors in a non-connected cabin. You just never know. I do avoid the connecting ones, if I have a choice. 🥴
  5. Good question. I knew this would be an issue. Not what we were told at all. If I were traveling next month, I’d call my TA/CVP and see if they could help. Probably not, but at least they could report it. Try again after June 17th, if your cruise is after this date. If unable, then for a SD, book it once OB, call the dine line from your cabin phone. Hopefully, you’ve already made your MDR reservations. Those were supposed to remain intact, if it was for a cruise prior to Sep 14, 2024.
  6. B705 is a connecting cabin to B707. So, I would avoid B707, but that’s just me. Otherwise, don’t see an issue. Elevators have never been a problem for us.
  7. According to their update information, you should not be affected since your traveling in August. You should be able to book your dining NOW. However, it seems their programming is affecting many who are trying to book MDR or SD at this time. Let us know when you are able.
  8. Of course, we know it’s subjective with some ports. When we traveled with children, they were much more lenient. Q & A May I bring my own food on a Princess cruise? The only food that Princess always permits onboard is pre-packaged items, such as breakfast bars or snacks. Most fresh food is subject to customs restrictions and is highly discouraged

  12. They did put Happy Birthday Jim on the cake I pre ordered. DH did not like the fondant icing. Taste like rubber! Lol Very cute cake, though. Anyway, if you have a few days, you might check with your head waiter and ask if a cake for 10 could be made, customized with name, etc. Not sure how much they would accommodate you, but I bet they will try. I requested lemon meringue cake for my bday and it was just for the two of us. They did it and it was much better than that chocolate mousse cake. Normally, I don’t mention our celebrations because we don’t like all the mousse desserts. But, they asked me what I liked. 🥴
  13. Not sure if the dining is open in Nov for the Sun. If it is, then I would try again, but try on the website version of the App under Dine my way. It also could be ab error response because the IT department is redoing the MDR on all the ships for cruises after Sep 14th. The reservations should he up and running on June 17th! Hopefully. This is not supposed to involve SD, but I bet it will affect them while they reprogram. JMHO
  14. According to Princess, you do have early access to Dine my way. https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/cc/captains-circle-loyalty-benefits.pdf You should be able to make it on June 17th, IF it’s up and running. Unless, it’s a new ship, they may not be available yet. IDK.
  15. This is not on the website, you will need to use the App, as demonstrated above. If you don’t want to download the App, you can ask your TA or CVP to purchase it for you. My CVP would no it if I needed them to. If you booked directly with PCL, they could assist, but many of them are not trained properly. Or, you can purchase it once OB. NP.

  22. MDR for cruises Sep 14 and after, reservations will be open to book or rebook MDR effective June 17th. (Hopefully) They used to say you had to wait until after FP, or be Elite, etc. But, we all know many have been able to book in advance of FP. So, just try it on June 17th or after. Try the App or the website version of the App. Should be interesting to see if they complete the update by then.
  23. You’re right. Thanks for that. That’s the reason I asked if it was the June Sky booking. FP should have been made. IDK. Maybe this is another cruise, further out? If so, when they make FP on the cabins they are using, the TA is going to want FP on all of them or charge the cancellation fee on the ones they cancel. You would think the TA knows how many bookings they made? UK rules are different than the US rules. Interesting to see what happens.
  24. Welcome to the Princess forum. First, just be aware, the rules of CC…we are not permitted to mention the name of any TA. I have not encountered your dilemma of duplicate booking cancellations past the FP, in the UK, I presume. I see you are booked in June on the Sky. If it were me, at this point, I would check in for the cabins you are using, get ready to sail for those cabins totally. Print out your travel summaries. If questioned, upon check in, explain the error and that you tried to cancel the extra cabins, as they will be no-shows. My concern is that those cabins are assigned in duplicate for some of the same passengers? Maybe someone in the UK that has used this TA could let us know, if they’ve ever been billed post cruise by the TA? My other suggestion, would be to ring PCL in the UK. Tell them the TA is not cooperative and you would like PCL to get those extra cabins, booked in error, back in their inventory. Most likely, they will not touch a TA booking. So, this is up to you, if you want to pursue. Do let us know what happens. Why didn’t this booking cancel, when FP was due? Should have cancelled already. Check the website.
  25. If you cancel it before the cruise, at least 3-5 days before sailing, it should go back on your cc. If you get close to sailing or once OB, then it goes to your folio as refundable OBC.
