Ironically, the App QR gives you a check in window like 1:00 to 1:30 and the next day it changes the time on the check in window. Crazy.
Actually, travel summary says boarding times for this ship starts at 11:30 am.
There are no more check in times and the cabin/deck should be shown.
The QR page says cabin pending and deck pending. What?
New format, confusing for folks.
No. Not true. There are no longer BP’s.
About 10-11 days before, if you have completed your check in, you will see a QR code on the App. However, we know the QR code doesn’t mean much. They aren’t even checking if you have it.
You are either showing green lane or blue lane. Green if your medallion has been shipped or Blue lane if you’re picking it up at the port.
For your protection, print your Travel Summary out, it has all your details if there’s any questions, like booking number, cabin, onboard purchases, etc. And of course, your passport or any required documents. You do not have to have a smartphone.
You will go through the blue lane to pick up your Medallion.
Or Gray lane, if you need the accessible lane.
You may need to contact the IT and explain what has been happening and how long.
They will need:
Full name
Ship and sail date
booking no
Explanation
Askoceanmedallion@carnival.com
Maybe try on your smart phones?
With their website app and the downloaded app, you have to keep it updated and clear cache and history frequently. You may need to sign out and back in, to refresh.
Well, that National alert just scared me, almost dropped my phone! 🤣
Interesting. I use mostly my iphone, without issues, for the most part.
If you can’t deal with it, you could report it to IT.

Boy, I must have been really having a great time, cruising all over Spain in March, because I didn’t notice any extra charges OB our cruise.
On land, we had excursions and always expect VAT’s and fees when on land.
It does still happen sometimes, even with a do not UG on yiur record.
The CVP should be able to help, if the cabin you had is still open, or a similar cabin.
Make sure the CVP always marks it No UG in the future.
It only happened to us once on half of our b2b. NO… we wanted the same cabin all the way through. They UG both cabins to different decks! 😳
Luckily, we got our original cabin back on both cruises.
Best if luck to you.
You could try the phone line and pick option for ocean ready, tney should be able to do it. I usually just wait a few hours or the next day, till they finish messing with the website.
That is a very generalized email sent to all guests on this TA cruise. Ignore it for yourself.
Same information given on the travel summary when they refer to visas.
