Safe travels and enjoy every minute of your cruise. I’ll be following along when I’m able. We will be boarding the Tales of the South Pacific in San Diego on Monday. I got a kick out of seeing my photo in your opening post. The laundry bag option is a good one. You can fit soooooooo much in those laundry bags. It became a game to see how much we could stuff. Our last cruise we were finally 4*, so we didn’t get to play the laundry bag game. 😂 Cheers, Denise

@OHCruiserYou were very lucky to be given Paxlovid without a positive COVID test. Our doctor was not able to give us a “just in case” prescription for our cruise on 10/3. We had COVID over 4th of July. We were prescribed Paxlovid and it made a big difference in our experience with COVID. We had an extremely mild case and we are both 76. Denise

Verify wouldn’t accept our booking numbers last week and our cruise is in 6 more days. I deleted the app a couple of times. Two days later it decided to accept the booking. I also had to add our vaccination info manually. Denise

They are boarding on September 28 in Vancouver. The ship will be in SF on October 1. Testing will still be required I would think. It certainly wouldn’t be right to have 600 people board without testing and make the rest of us test. Denise

Nice to see some info on our South Pacific cruise ports. In this time of covid, it is more important than ever to remain flexible when cruising. Ports are never a sure thing but now they can change in an instant. Thanks, Denise

Hi!! Thanks for all the cabin info. We were able to use magnets on the walls in our cabin on deck 7. Did I misunderstand what you posted? Love, love, love using the dowel on the thermostat wall. Hopefully you posted photos. Speaking of which, they are requesting access to view them. I remember this happened last year. Your son tweaked something and photos were available again. Is Captain Frisco sailing with us to the South Pacific? I kind of think not although it would be wonderful. We have one more day of triple digits!! Can’t wait until this is over.
