Is Document of Recovery no longer accepted? I don’t see it anywhere in the new testing information. We are cruising on 10/3/22. Tests are required for our 45 day cruise. We are within the 90 days of recovery. Thanks, Denise

We booked the 10 day to LaPaz and Loreto for March 25, 2023. It’s a great itinerary. Much better than Princess out of San Francisco, which is our home port. We love sailing from San Diego. We always stay for a couple of days pre cruise to enjoy the city. Denise

I emailed my brokerage info to HAL at 1pm today. I received a confirmation email at 3:10pm. Talk about fast!! Denise

Be aware that the Royal Princess has blue glass everywhere on the outside decks. It is very difficult to photograph through this glass. The spaces where you can avoid the glass, will be packed with people. We have cruised with Princess 34 times but switched to HAL for many reasons several years ago. We just booked a Mexican cruise with HAL that is $700 more than Princess but the itinerary and a few perks not to mention cabin comfort make all the difference to us.

They require but do not enforce. In March, masks were required in several venues. Folks were not complying. I was told there was nothing management could do. If folks didn’t want to mask they couldn’t make them. So exactly what is the point of requirements??? I believe masks do help. Needless to say we didn’t go to any shows or talks which we do enjoy. It was frustrating to say the least.

We like sparkling water, so every day we got at least four from the bar. We never came close to hitting our 15 drink limit, which also includes specialty coffees. We did get quite a few sparkling waters on day one. We didn’t board until 3pm. Denise

Lol!😂😂😂 Nope, we are cruising with kids and grands on Carnival Miracle. New experience for us on our 42nd cruise. We are having a great time. Is it different than Princess, yes. But not enough that I wouldn’t cruise Carnival again. Round trip from our home port makes for an easy decision. Cheers, Denise

The Know Before You Go email has this info. We have not yet received an email for Health Assessment for our 6/20 cruise. There is no place to put Health info on my cruise manager or planner. Denise

We just spent 35 days in an aft cabin on Deck 7 on the Zuiderdam. We managed just fine with the two of us. We are not tiny people either. Yes the space between the bed and the wall is very narrow. But you only need that space to get in and out of bed.

Lucky us to have such fun folks above us for 35 glorious days. It really was an oasis for this cruise. We spent more time in our cabin and balcony than ever before. We have been “aft people” for years and years!

We were offered an upsell from our aft cabin to a Signature Suite on the Zuiderdam. It was a 35 day cruise. We kept the aft cabin and were so very glad we did. Not only are the views spectacular but there is very little or no wind on the balcony. We spent a lot of time out there. It was heaven. Enjoy Alaska!

Howie and I love Fakarava. We always walk on the other side of the island from the tender landing. It is filled with incredible coral and a nice sandy pathway. It’s like being on a deserted island. We always make a stop at the church. Inside it’s magnificent. The cemetery out back is also very interesting. Sad we aren’t stopping there on the Fall 2022 cruise. Cheers, Denise

We just completed a 35 day cruise. The hold was for $30 PP and was kept on for the entire cruise. It remains in pending. It was added on Day One of the cruise.
