If you read the section on OBC of the above link, it says “You can also apply Onboard Credit toward your specialty dining reservation pre-cruise using Dine My Way℠ in the MedallionClass app.” But everyone here says that doesn’t work. Lol

I have put my “COVID” kit with liquid cough med in my checked luggage 3 times in the last year with no problem. I do only pack a small 4 oz bottle.

I am confused. How does one use the app if I cannot link my booking? My ap password is different from my princess password. Is this part of my issue?

We are curious as to the sofa bed on Royal Princess in a mini suite. Does the couch pullout like a true sofa bed or are the back cushions removed and the couch made up as a bed without being pulled out? We do have a twin mattress foam pad we usually bring on Celebrity for DD to use on a upper pull down. If the sofa is pulled out, can you fit past the end to the balcony?

We pulled our loungers all the way up to the rail so there was no room for any one to stand in front of us. We were out there bright and early to get our spot.

Where are the best Glacier Bay viewing sites on the Royal? Our last trip to GB was on the Grand and we had great loungers by the Terrace Pool.

It was on the Reflection menu recently and was fine, especially along with the small lobster tail on chic night.

I have a question related to this topic. If a mini suite is booked under Princess Plus for 3 people (all adults) does the final price include Princess Plus for all 3 or so I need to pay for the third person? It looks like the OBC is for all 3.

Any hotel suggestions for a late arrival overnight stay prior to Princess cruise? Also, would we be better off staying near the airport with a longer trip in the morning to Pier 99 or a longer trip to a hotel after a late night arrival on a Friday night? Due to work/grad school we cannot come in any earlier. Thanks.

I am not sure about Celebrity not allowing OBC for pre booking shore excursions, but you can definitely prebook specialty dining using OBC.

My DD did not get a number until she turned 18, but her points were accumulated from previous cruises.

I priced a cruise without signing in and again after signing in. The price was the same. I do have a verification code, but saw no where to put it in. How does one apply the discount?

They look better than the menus I had on Reflection last week. We have never tried Royal, mainly because we like Celebrity, but this could have us doing a trial.

My DD and DH had the classic package last week on Reflection, I had upgraded months ago. She did ask once for what type of water was available and was handed the classic package canned water.

We had made reservations ahead of time, we ate in Tuscan the first night and there were empty tables for sure. Murano and LCG were definitely busier.

I will add that we did check out the buffet in the evening just to see and it was pizza, pasta, salad, and a few stations different each evening. Many stations were closed.

Just got off Reflection today. All of the items mentioned above were gone from MDR menus. The every day sirloin was not good either. I will say our dinners in the speciality restaurants were all excellent with very good beef.

I don’t remember reading other threads about this. We (DD who never takes a bad picture) have enjoyed this prior to the restart. Our last two cruises since have been slightly disappointing as the available spots have been decreased and one every night is a green screen. This means you get 4-5 of the same shot with a different background, so if someone looks iffy, it is the same for all of them. We are cruising shortly on Reflection and did pre purchase it a few months ago, but it may be the last time for us, especially as we will be cruising more without the photogenic one.

How accurate are the menus recently? We have cruised twice in the last year with pretty accurate results. I prebook 2-3 specialty restaurants as we are not in a suite and a party of 3. DH does not like to eat at 8pm. For our upcoming Reflection (1/8) cruise, the order of the menus has changed 2x in the last few days. Today, lobster is on day 1. I would like to make a switch, but what if different again tomorrow?? I am reluctant to wait until boarding as we are not Retreat guests. Anyone have any updates in recent cruises?

We usually ask our steward to just service our room in the evening while we are at dinner. We mostly travel with a twentysomething who wants to lounge in the morning and not leave the cabin until lunch. We do like our towels changed in the evening and the bed straightened but otherwise we are good. Hope we continue to have an option but will adjust if needed.

We have done this twice and are booked again in a few weeks. It is so much fun. DD has taken on very active roles, I have done less active and DH has been timekeeper and ice burg watcher🤣 definitely book it if you can
