  1. Here's what I see. Looks like it's only $24 that you get 45 days after the completed cruise. You also have to book through their link and pay with your Capitol One card. I'm not sure if you could use it to add an excursion or something. T&C attached. Capital-One-Offers-Terms-and-Conditions.pdf
  2. Solo (studio) interiors are different than regular ones.
  3. MSC only shows one rate divided equally by the number of passengers, $212pp. That's why OP was irritated. Passengers #3 and #4 pay the same but don't get internet. So to make it equal they could purchase a two device plan for #3 and #4 to use, but the cost should be divided by all four. That way everyone gets the same packages for the same cost.
  4. Like many other cruise lines I don't think MSC will ever actually end putting together packages claiming it's a sale. And most of them are when you compare it to purchasing the included items separately. But some sailings get better pricing incentives than others. Recently the average cost of the Drinks and Wifi inclusive rate has typically been $240pp to $280pp for a one week with two people. There were real deals hidden within the promotion such as several Meraviglia sailings where the inclusive rate was only $140pp more ($20pp per day). It's been several years ago that I saw the best deals of around $10 to $13pp per day. And conversely on sailings that have sold really well don't expect the inclusive rate to save near that much.
  5. The way I look at it is MSC is just dividing the total cost by four for their simplicity of showing you a per person cost on the screen. In reality if you are trying to divide the cost among your cabinmates then you need to adjust the cost up for passengers #1 and #2 who get the internet and accordingly down for #3 and #4 who will not get internet. Or simply purchase another two device plan and split the cost by all four people.
  6. I think you've got it right. Four adult Easy Plus packages for a one week sailing purchased after booking would run $427pp (on board purchase add 15%) and the two a two device browse plan I have to estimate at about $125. Total around $1800. So if you take the inclusive booking rate for $848 it might seem expensive but if you really want them it's the best option. The OBC is per cabin.
  7. On one of my bookings they again pulled the trick of significantly lowering the Port Fees/Taxes and raising the booking rate. It's only about $50pp total less but this gets old. Maybe this law will put a stop to it but I doubt it because now you actually have to go into a mock booking to see the fees/taxes.
  8. I assume it's to do with the California law. You can still see the breakdown if you look at the Summary page. Actually now it's going to be tougher to see when MSC randomly changes the taxes and fees.
  9. No, (limited) minibar is only included with Yacht Club bookings.
  10. @fj2k2k or @freejack2k Here's an example of what you are looking for on page two of the Booking Confirmation. Make sure the Guest(s) info I marked in red is complete for both of you. Then lower down check the other line I marked in red for each guest's Item(s) charged. If the guest info and VC numbers appear and the Shipboard credit 50 is not under each guest's items then make sure the Pax Type: states VOYAGERS EXCLUSIVES. ETA: Sorry, the red boxes appear brownish in this image.
  11. Any MSC phone agent can email the Booking Confirmation. The only part I'm unsure of is if having used a travel agent complicates this.
  12. Ask your TA to send you MSC's Booking Confirmation, a PDF document. Otherwise you might be able to call MSC to try and have it sent. I don't use the UK website but frequently the VC OBC isn't always able to be seen online.
  13. The OBC should show up on page two, Booking Details, as "SB050GVS-Shipboard credit 50 Eur/Usd - 40 Gbp" for each passenger. Make sure on your Booking Confirmation PDF that at top of page two under "Guest(s)" it has both your Voyagers Club number(s) and status. ETA: It may take a few days to show up on the booking. Just my guess but I think it helps to link the booking to your MSC online accounts for all passengers.
  14. I see. I've had no trouble using the regular drinks packages nor the YC package at the Champagne Bar. I can't think of any ship where MSC considers the Champagne Bar as a "signature venue".
  15. Outside the Yacht Club you have the Premium Extra package so it covers up to €14/$16. If the drink is more you just pay the difference plus gratuity.
  16. Meraviglia 16008 is beneath the Yacht Club pool and 16010 is beneath the pool's mechanical room. Both areas have been reported as quiet.
  17. This one is a few months old but should still be fairly close. CHAMPAGNE-BAR.pdf
  18. I contacted the Voyagers Club email and immediately got the auto response saying they received the email. Six days later I got another response: Dear XXXXX, Thank you for contacting the MSC Cruises Voyagers Club. I want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have reviewed our systems and opened a ticket based on the information provided. We ask that you allow us 5-7 business days to have these technical matters resolved. To better assist you with general questions or concerns contact us at the number below. Please note emails are handled in the order they are received. If you send multiple requests, it may take longer to receive a response. Kind Regards, Danyelle, MSC Tier 2 Voyagers Club Desk MSC Cruises (USA) Inc 1-877-665-4655 It's only been two days since, I'll update if I have success.
  19. The actual day and time have to be selected once on board. Do this fairly soon after boarding and pick the earliest date you are comfortable with because cancelled shows are fairly common and bookings for the last days/times can get difficult.
  20. When I book as two cruises with different cabins I tip at the end of each segment. It's a good possibility you will get different cabin and dining personnel. I rarely use the concierge and thus usually don't tip them much so that person might be an exception for me to tip at the end. There's no right or wrong.
  21. Did you have to pay a new deposit with the old deposit to be refunded in a few weeks?
  22. Perhaps the "sale" is the increased OBC. On several sailings I've been watching the price of the Drinks & WiFi rate had not gone up but they added pretty generous OBC. It was enough to make me book one Med sailing when I noticed it several days ago. The September 8th Bermuda has had a much better deal on the inclusive rate and has not increased with the now included $50/$100 OBC.
  23. Note that the free bottled water and coffee for US, Canadian and UK bookings of EU sailings is only during lunch and dinner hours. The booking summary actually now states "...in dining room".
  24. There's videos from this cabin class on other decks.
