  1. When I book as two cruises with different cabins I tip at the end of each segment. It's a good possibility you will get different cabin and dining personnel. I rarely use the concierge and thus usually don't tip them much so that person might be an exception for me to tip at the end. There's no right or wrong.
  2. Did you have to pay a new deposit with the old deposit to be refunded in a few weeks?
  3. Perhaps the "sale" is the increased OBC. On several sailings I've been watching the price of the Drinks & WiFi rate had not gone up but they added pretty generous OBC. It was enough to make me book one Med sailing when I noticed it several days ago. The September 8th Bermuda has had a much better deal on the inclusive rate and has not increased with the now included $50/$100 OBC.
  4. Note that the free bottled water and coffee for US, Canadian and UK bookings of EU sailings is only during lunch and dinner hours. The booking summary actually now states "...in dining room".
  5. There's videos from this cabin class on other decks.
  6. Cruise Critic article: https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles/your-guide-to-cruise-line-age-policies MSC Guest Conduct Policy March 2024 (see "Other Age Policies"): Guest-Conduct-Policy.pdf And just to make it more confusing, the Conditions of Carriage May 2024 (see Section 14): Conditions of Carriage 240520.pdf
  7. Obtaining a passport is going to require the father's signature anyway. I'm not sure of the grand daughter's age but getting full legal custody is probably a good idea regardless of what MSC wants.
  8. Spa appointments can only be made once on board. If you want a specific time, especially on a sea day, you should do this as soon as possible after you board.
  9. From the MSC US Terms & Conditions Section 6: Passengers under the age of 21 (on voyages that include a port in the USA) or 18 (on voyages that do not include a port in the USA) must travel accompanied by their parents or a legal guardian. If one of the traveling minor’s parents is not cruising, then a signed authorization letter, from the absent parent authorizing the minor to travel, made in accordance with the laws of the country where the minor resides, must be provided at the time of Booking. 11. Military discount cannot be used in conjunction with the Voyagers Club discount, it's one or the other.
  12. Since the issue seems more of website login problem than Voyagers Club you might also try: MSCCustomerService@MSCCruisesUSA.com
  13. Best choices are 16037, 16039 and 16041 which are not under the YC galley. 16031 technicality is under another YC interior but it's close and may get some noise. 16019, 16023 and 16025 are beneath the galley. Deck 18 (non HC) interiors are under the YC pool and pool mechanical room, so actually pretty quiet. Deck 19 (non HC) are under the One pool bar and grill prep area. 19016 is more under the sundeck restrooms.
  14. Nice, we don't often see the inclusive rates that low on the US site. That sailing on the US site is only $20 per day more, while normally it costs about $35 to $40 per day more depending on cruise length. That matches the best I had seen in a while; this eight day was also at $20 per day. Must be something about those NYC sailings needing more bookings.
  15. For US bookings the Easy package is priced pre-cruise at $46 per day on seven day and longer cruises so $322 is full price. A gratuity is added to the package price only if purchased on board, there are no per drink gratuities unless buying individual drinks without a package. The only place MSC offers a discount to package prices is through the booking rate offer, such as "Drinks &WiFi Incuded". With that booking rate offer you get the better Easy Plus package and also a Browse internet package for around $270 per person more than the base "Cruise Only" rate on a seven day US based sailing.
  16. The military discount is 5% on inside/ocean view and 10% on balcony and above. And the T&C's mention capacity, restrictions and that it cannot be combined with the Voyagers Club 5% discount. I could only see the discount on the Booking Confirmation under the Booking Details. Under Pax Type it stated "Military USA". While I could not see the discount in the actual invoice fare numbers, I was able to calculate my rate was 10% less than the online price. I only had to submit my information to MSC once and they applied it to several bookings years apart. But I haven't used it since the restart and now that they have dropped the civil service aspect of the discount I think there likely has been a change in policy.
  17. It sometimes takes MSC several days, or months, to correct these types of issues. Since you don't have any Voyagers history to lose, if you have an alternate email that your willing to use you can just create another online account (with the correct name) and use that new online account to link the booking and Voyagers numbers. If you choose this route I'd advise you go back and change the information in the old account to something unrelated to your real information.
  18. Uber was readily available. I've been told certain cell carriers have no data available right near terminal 10 so check your signal when embarking. I had no problem with Verizon.
  19. The structure has been there for a while, I noticed it last October. I'm pretty sure it's a second buffet building that so far hasn't been used.
  20. I thought they already had a second buffet building that has been unused so far. It's located about 400 feet due West of the current buffet area and was originally part of the central construction area. Note: the ship’s dock at the Southern end of the island so the usual maps are rotated about 90 degrees from North.
  21. The internet package per day prices vary by ship, region and cruise length. It's been a while but from the US a single device browse package usually ran about $9 to $12 per day. Unfortunately online these prices are only shown once booked, but if you call an agent you can usually get a definitive price prior to booking.
  22. Is there more than one charter? I only see Jam Cruise 21 on Feb 14th to 19th, I don't see anything for Feb 19th to 24th.
  23. If the bartender wants to charge it as one drink, which will cost you more, then just have them split it (or order it) as two singles, which will give you the $10 per drink discount. You need to specify ship/sailing.
  24. The first section of Easy Package included drinks are $8 or less. OCEAN_CAY_BAR-MENU.pdf
  25. MSC internet access is sold by the device. Max of 2 devices per stateroom being included with the package rate sums it up. Any third+ passengers in the same cabin will need to purchase another package separately for additional devices.
