  1. 1. There are no elevators in the aft area of Meraviglia, those midship ones are the closest for passengers and quite a walk from the aft cabins. 2. No cocktails are included without a drinks package. 8. The Aurea sun deck is nothing special on Meraviglia, just less crowded and has a hot tub overlooking the main pool area. There is no dedicated bar and bar service is often limited.
  2. Simply by entering different numbers of passengers you can see there's plenty of connecting cabins available on your sailing. For further out sailings MSC is going to push you to cabins that exactly match your occupancy when possible. Usually a knowledgeable phone agent knows how to view all available cabins and can override the minimum passenger requirements MSC has temporarily set for the cabins. I'd keep calling until you get an agent that knows how to work with the system. Below pics are with four passengers and with two passengers selected. I don't like using a travel agent but a knowledgeable one should be able to book this also. It is possible MSC will initially refuse to book the three passengers into a cabin with four berths. But as sail date approaches they usually relax that policy. They are already allowing two passengers in cabins that accommodate more.
  3. By the looks/pattern of which cabins the MSC website is showing as available I'm thinking for various reasons MSC is holding cabins back from your online view. Have you tried calling and talking to a MSC phone agent about getting connected cabins? My bet is they will accommodate you. You will have to book one adult in each cabin, and cost wise it will likely be best for one child to be in each cabin.
  4. The old Customer Service email seems to now go unanswered so I won't give that one. For a final invoice or feedback on a cruise you have already taken email : postcruisesupport@msccruisesusa.com For Voyager's Club inquiries email : mscvoyagersclub@msccruisesusa.com
  5. The only cabins I know of that have six berths are the Two Bedroom Grand Suites on Seaside and Plus ships. There are also what MSC used to call Family Balconies but technically these are two or three connected cabins.
  6. MSC originally touted the wrist bands as a means to track children around the ship. They also have alluded to using them around the ship for targeted messages. I don't think the idea got a good reception so MSC hasn't pushed those features, but I'm pretty sure the newer ships have RFID scanners/readers placed in the public areas.
  7. Are you trying to do the status match or just register? It's possible you already have a Voyagers Club number, try logging in to the full account using your email address and look at your VC section. If you are trying to status match have you used this page? https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/msc-voyagers-club/status-match
  8. GPS is short for Global Positioning System that uses satellites for geolocations, no cruise ship wristband or medallion can do this. Cruise lines use RFID, Radio Frequency Identification, chips to track people only while on the ships.
  9. I posted the menu in this thread. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/3016838-ocean-cay-food/#comment-67603320
  10. I'd be more interested if they made the included drinks package Premium Extra like on UK bookings.
  11. It's only four dollars more for internet on the September 8th sailing.
  12. For US bookings there is still a daily service charge added to your on board account. It is discretionary. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/before-you-go/service-charges
  13. That class ship usually has a specialty restaurant midship on deck 15 next to the disco area. I thought it was like on her sister ships and called Galaxy Sushi but I now see no mention of any restaurant in that location. Some changes might be happening, hopefully someone can update. If it is still Galaxy Sushi here's a menu. MENU_KAITO_GALAXY_FOOD_ENG.pdf
  14. I'm sure she will be along soon to answer any questions but here's a trip report Jamie did from her studio balcony on a similar ship. Similar cabin video:
  15. It's less so than in the past. Just a few years ago it was unusual for a sailing to have more than a couple unsold YC cabins a few months before sailing. Now pick almost any sailing a month or so out and you will find lots of available YC cabins, even the YC Interiors are often still available. There's evidently lots of people finding YC prices not that reasonable. MSC has gone the way of overpricing YC and bidding off all the unsold cabins. I stopped booking NCL for the same reason.

    Canned Beers?

Where are you sailing from? Here's the Sports Bar menu for most US sailings. SPORTS-BAR-LIST.pdf
  17. There are cracks starting to show caused by MSC's ever increasing YC prices. It used to be every YC interior was scooped up almost immediately but I'm seeing more and more sailings where they are going unsold. At $4K per week I'm not surprised. It also used to be every YC balcony filled pretty fast but that's not happening either. Plenty of bidding opportunities is the current way MSC is filling the Yacht Club.
  18. While vomit will cause the pool to shut down for cleaning at least it's fairly obvious and others will likely evacuate quickly. Vomit doesn't usually have any pathogens in it. Strained baby poop is less noticeable and can contain parasites like Crypto and bacteria like Giardia, Cholera, Shigella, and E. coli. Those can be deadly to anyone using the pool after your baby's strained poop is left in there. You are putting anyone who later uses that pool at serious risk by taking a baby in the water.
  19. This was the last known status matching table, it's probably still close. Cunard is listed. Status Match_Conversion Table.pdf
  20. I haven't been able to see my Voyagers Club area of the MSC website for years, it always errors. One thing that does work is if you have an active booking you can see your points total in the personal section of the MSC for Me app. Unfortunately it doesn't show individual cruises/points.
  21. Officially Easy Plus purchased separately on a 7 day US based cruise is $61 per day. Gratuity is included if you purchase before the cruise. Lately MSC has been offering discounts up to 40% to some people, like the 30% off shown above. There's no consensus yet on who gets the offer. Pre cruise the speciality dining is offered in packages, except for the BC Chef's Table. You can book any individual speciality resturant once on the ship. A 15% gratuity will be added. Here's a few menus for pricing examples. OCEAN-CAY.pdf TEPPANYAKI.pdfBUTCHERS-CUT.pdfSUSHI.pdf
  22. So did you have to leave your luggage out on the last night for it to be moved to the next cabin? Or were you able to leave it in the cabin? I've only done one non-YC to non-YC B2B in 2019 and the cabin steward told us to leave the luggage in our cabin and he moved it to our new cabin while we went through immigration. No luggage tags were given to us, although I did put on the ones I had printed just to be sure. For both our YC to non-YC B2Bs we did the same. Left the luggage in the cabin with our own tags. I can see having those in transit luggage tags being helpful but not if you have to leave it out the last night.
  23. Your butler will pass it off to the cabin steward for your next cabin, it might get left outside if the butler can't find the new cabin's steward. You don't have to leave it out the night before. You should keep your personal items with you and they will let you wait in the Yacht Club until they get the word for you to go to the B2B meeting point. From there on you will follow the regular B2B process. ETA: It's likely you will need to get your next cruise card from guest services the last evening. Be sure to check off the ship with the old card and back on with the new card.
  24. Here's the menu from Seaside late 2023. Looks similarly priced. TEPPANYAKI.pdf It's very rare to be allowed Teppanyaki as your Diamond meal. A few have reported they were allowed with a small upcharge, but I have not ever been allowed.
  25. Just look at the prices of the few unique Divina sailings and they are still pretty well sold. I'd think MSC would take note but it seems they still don't have much interest in filling the demand for longer, more diverse itineraries.
