  1. It's the reality of cruising during hurricane season. However, they do everything they can to avoid the storms and insure a safe (and smooth as possible) cruise. Several years ago we were on B2B when there were 2 hurricanes brewing in the Caribbean. The captain skirted both, and the cruise was smooth as silk.
  2. No. Just got a note in my room the day before saying it had been cancelled.
  3. Why not keep it simple...Just get the latest booster!
  4. I booked the Taste of Royal luncheon on line for my last three cruises, and it was cancelled each time.
  5. Can the unsupervised Covid test be used for Canada cruises? I can't seem to find any info on this on the RC site and calling to ask a rep is useless since they are clueless.
  6. Simple solution...Just get the booster, especially now that the newest booster is available.
  7. As a solo cruiser I was able to use the "BOGO" only one night, and was charged 50% of the cover fee. This was on Enchantment.
  8. I don't have an answer regarding vegetarian, but I do know they were able to accommodate my husband's special dietary needs. I would suggest speaking with the Chef's Table manager to see what they could do for you.
  9. I know that's probably what you meant, but I just couldn't resist!
  10. I highly recommend Tours by Locals. We have done two walking tours with them (both in Quebec City). Our guides were very knowledgeable and provided us with good information and paced for us to enjoy. Check their website for info.
  11. It's very easy to get out of the lot and onto I-95.
  12. I'd love to see this happen, but depending on the itinerary, the country being stopped at may require the testing, and RC has no control over their government requirements.
  13. Guess it depends on the port. Baltimore has been very strict about arrival/check in times.
  14. If I'm understanding it correctly, we will get some kind of QR code prior to our Canada arrival date. What if you don't have a smart phone like my older travel companion? Also, if you do have a phone but no service coverage on the ship or in Canada, then what? I don't want to accrue $$$ in roaming fees.
  15. Thanks for the information. I hope this isn't as much of a hassle as getting the Bermuda travel authorization earlier this year.
  16. I'm confused about this ArriveCAN. Is it required only for cruises departing from a Canadian port or is it required for any stop in Canada. We will be porting in St. John, NB on our October cruise and I would appreciate any information. Thanks.
  17. 300 ducks? You seriously need an intervention!😁
