  1. It's $100.99pp for my cruise in Dec 2023. Departs at 9am and lasts 4 hours.
  2. You don't have to have a condition. You just tell them that the other party doesn't drink and that is sufficient to allow one DBP and one RP.
  3. If you select just the month of Jan it works fine and if you select the month of Feb it is fine. Search both together and it doesn't work. Weird
  4. Yeah... and it's your fault too LOL. Sharron enjoys cruising but I'm the addict and she sometimes mentions doing other things instead of cruising. I'm working a couple of hours from home and Sharron went to my daughters and the spent the night Tuesday night and came home yesterday. I mentioned the email you sent just as casual conversation and said "but since that is near your XX birthday (landmark year) I imagine you'll want to do something else" thinking she would poopoo the idea. She replied "Oh no, that sounds great, let's take Tasha and Chris (DD and SIL). So now I'm paying for another vacation for my kids. It doesn't matter how old she gets, she still seems to be costing me money and this time you are to blame. 😉
  5. I've been before... You can get the best brisket sandwiches. I have no interest in Ag but it's a chance to embrace my inner red neck.
  6. There is also a usually a "drink of the day" that is served in various locations that will be discounted a little. Our 9 year old grand daughter was so enthralled by it on Adventure when we took her that we barely saw her.
  7. No I meant deck 7. Deck 6 and deck 7 both have, what Royal considers, obstructed balconies, only the ones on deck 7 aren't really obstructed at all. Perhaps a tiny bit if you are at the rail and looking straight down but the obstruction is negligible. We even got one on 7 that was at the edge of the hump and had an extended balcony. The deck 7 and 6 are priced the say though.
  8. Deck 7 are considered obstructed but aren't. They are sold less expensively.
  9. Knowing that diamond doesn't get much I've never bothered making a selection. So far on the last four cruises I've had four bottles of water each time.
  10. I'm finally back to work... thankfully. I've been bored to tears for the last five days and it's starting to get expensive. Online shopping and YouTube have been my only entertainment. There has been a tab open on my browser to my cruise planner for days now. I'm shocked I haven't booked another cruise, just more excursions and spa treatments so far. And last night the algorithm at Youtube decided I needed cat videos. You know you've reached the end of the line when that is all that is left.
  11. I'm like you. I spent my first 50 years of life in Vancouver. I was raised around the scenery much like Alaska. I loved going but I also consider the ship to be part of the destination. That's why Ovation is my recommendation.
  12. No you are good. Nothing needed for that one.
  13. 6542 is not listed as obstructed. If smoke from the promenade is a concern for you I'd take the 13 and take your chances with a noisy neighbor
  14. Where and what cruise are you on. Testing is eliminated for almost all cruises but is still required for a couple destinations.
  15. Sorry it was such a nightmare Dani. I hope the rest of your trip is just glorious to make up for this rough start.
  16. No Alaska is special and you will have a great time. I've been to Alaska three times. My favorite one was Ovation of the Seas. It was great coming back to the ship after seeing some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable to then be entertained with some very top flight entertainment well into the evening. The only thing to be aware of is there is absolutely no guarantee when it comes to weather. Expect cool and damp weather. If you get sunshine and warm temps consider yourself blessed.
  17. I would recommend Ovation or Quantum if you don't want to be bored to tears while you are the ship. Far more entertainment options available. Unless you are early to bed people who do not have much interest in fun shipboard entertainment Princess isn't your answer.
  18. It is tough. Sometimes if I've been away for a bit I just jump into the last three pages and try to pick it up again.
  19. Quick question for @A&L_Ont and anyone else who might have a recommendation. My upcoming Oasis cruise is our 30th Anniversary and I'm trying to do everything first class. DW deserves an awful lot having put up with me for all these years. I remember one Andrew's live reviews where you did a stretch limo of some sort for transport to the cruise ship. Do you, or anybody else willing to chime in with their experience, have a recommendation on who to use for that service. In the past I've had hit and miss results at other locations. I've never done it in Miami and when I search reviews I find a lot of mixed reviews but nothing that breeds great confidence. I want everything to be perfect.
  20. The tribute bands usually do 2 week engagements and then they change them out. No diamond can't go to the suite lounge they have their own diamond lounge
  21. It is only the longest running show in Broadway and West End history and it list of awards is paltry compared to others... 1983 Tony Awards[6] Best Musical (Won) Best Book of a Musical (Won) Best Original Score (Won) Best Featured Actress in a Musical - Betty Buckley (Won) Best Costume Design (Won) Best Lighting Design (Won) Best Direction of a Musical (Won) Best Featured Actor in a Musical - Harry Groener (Nominated) Best Featured Actor in a Musical - Stephen Hanan (Nominated) Best Scenic Design (Nominated) Best Choreography (Nominated) Just to list a few. I can't imagine anyone wanting to see it...
  22. We did that back in 2015 with our grand kids at Disneyland. The look on my, then, 9 year old grand son as we rode up the first hill of the Radiator Springs Racers ride was priceless. He was a big lightning McQueen fan... Him and I would play that game on PS3 all the time. He looked at me as we ascended that first hill and said "Papa, it's just like being in the game". That is a priceless moment I'll cherish forever. I remember being so tired I thought I would sleep for a week after two days there with them but it was awesome.
