Onboard now as you have read from my testing thread questions. Just thought I would a throw little update around. Not doing a blog as on the PC's they are very slow. As of day 4 evening or is it day 5 I have lost track of the time but is Thursday and we left Sunday afternoon. There are NO KNOWN Covid cases onboard although the word is never mentioned so there could be but to my knowledge there is not. And maybe one or two people coughing a little bit but not like they are ill and have come into work. And test is NOT required for the next leg of our B2B section to the fijords. As to the Masks some of the crew are not wearing them correctly over there noises some even wearing them round there chins. Passenger wearing about 30% maybe more. DJ Chris who is onboard reckons the staff will wear them for years to come because if Covid gets into the entertainment staff it would shut the entertainment down like it did at christmas and they would have to stop the operation. His words not mine Just thought I would issue the update.

I tried it and the only supervised testing, testing done to you was drive through testing and there where no drive through testing sites in nyc.

The guy next to us got turned back and had to be tested again on site. He was not happy and I think saw 1 person slip money to the girl checking the paperwork. There was a look when she was checking this guy's paperwork like she felt it when she grabbed it and knew what it was about. The whole thing was a joke. We waited at least an hour in line to get through the test checking. The actual boarding was very quick.

I finished up going to Bloom labs on west 36th came back negative. The test was a joke I did the test myself while she watched me do it. Barely touched my noise and it was all clear. All they did was look at the dates on the the pieces of paper no QR code was scanned.

Here is an interesting question though I doubt this would ever arise but what if every Cunard sailing was fully booked up for 2 years from that date of issuance or the date of your sail?

Then they need to change the grade of fuel used if that is doable without dry dock work?
